Girls und PanzerReturns to World of Tanks with New Team-Kabasan

March 5th, 2026 – The iconic and fan-favorite Girls und Panzer universe returns to World of Tanks with an exciting new addition from Oarai Girls’ High School. From March 5th to March 12th, a brand-new Sensha-Dō crew Team-Kabasan—joins the battlefield, bringing a new vehicle, exclusive crew, and a wide range of stylish customizations to collect.

Oarai Girls’ High School expands its lineup with the arrival of Team-Kabasan, led by the determined Commander Erwin with her unique voiceover. The team also includes Caesar, Saemonza, and Oryo, all restricted to German vehicles. When all four crew members are together in action, they activate a dynamic team voiceover, exchanging exclusive in-battle dialogue.

Making its debut alongside the crew is the StuG III Ausf. F Kabasan, a brand-new tank destroyer inspired by Team-Kabasan. Designed to embody the spirit of Oarai, this iconic vehicle is ready for heroic actions in true Sensha-Dō style. In addition, classic Girls und Panzer vehicles make a return during the event in special offers.

For the first time ever in a Girls und Panzer collaboration, a single vehicle arrives with two detachable 3D styles. Commanders can customize the StuG III Ausf. F Kabasan with one of the Team-Kabasan themed 3D styles, each capturing the crew’s charm and personality. Both styles can be applied independently. An expanded lineup of 2D styles is also available for collections, ranging from the cheerful Team-Kabasan all-season design with its signature Hippo mascot to the fully adjustable “Oarai” style, along with the return of classic school looks from St. Gloriana, Kuromorimine, and Jatkosota HS.

During the event, commanders can also complete special missions to earn GuP Tokens, redeemable in the Girls und Panzer Event Store for exclusive rewards, including new Team-Kabasan-themed customizations, decals, one 2D style, and a voiced Commander.

ASSASSIN’S CREED 2026 BRAND UPDATE

ASSASSIN’S CREED: INTO 2026

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – MARCH 5, 2026 – Today, Ubisoft shared more on what the Assassin’s Creed has in store for the rest of the year, with an update from Jean Guesdon, Head of Content for the franchise. The full article can be found here

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is about to turn one!

Since launch, the experience has evolved with new features and updates, shaped in large part by your feedback. Our recent parkour refinements are a direct result of regular feedback sessions, both in person and online, with our most engaged players and creators. On behalf of the entire Shadows team: THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE JOURNEY! This past year has been a rewarding learning experience for us, built on this strong collaboration. We want to carry this mindset forward as a foundation to further strengthen our connection with you in the future.

Come celebrate with us on March 20!

Now it’s time to celebrate! Tune in to our official Ubisoft Twitch channel for a livestream starting at 10AM PT / 6PM CET with a focus on our latest game update and we might even reveal the winners of our Parkour Challenge, along with some drops and giveaways!

As we reach this milestone, Shadows will be moving into its final phase of support. We’re winding things down with smaller, less frequent updates… but still a few surprises! At the same time, our teams will begin shifting more focus toward what’s next for Assassin’s Creed.

Codename HEXE

While we know we haven’t shared much about this one yet, it’s being built with great care by our veteran team here at Ubisoft Montreal. Expect a unique, darker, narrative-driven Assassin’s Creed experience, set during a pivotal moment in history. You may have seen the recent news: I have recently taken the role of Creative Director for the project, in addition to my new responsibilities as Head of Content. We are taking the time to deliver on its ambitious vision, which means we’ll be quiet for a little longer, but we love seeing all the enthusiasm happening on our channels and can’t wait to unveil more when the time is right.

Codename INVICTUS is progressing steadily with a test and learn approach.

Codename Invictus is a PvP multiplayer Assassin’s Creed experience led by a dedicated team of For Honor veterans at Ubisoft Montreal. We understand there’s a lot of curiosity around this project: yes, it’s a new approach to multiplayer in the franchise, but it isn’t quite what the rumours have suggested. With player feedback at the heart of our approach, we’re exploring ways to bring the community in earlier so we can shape the experience together. The team is incredibly passionate about what they’re building, and their work reflects our broader goal of offering a wider variety of experiences within the Assassin’s Creed universe.

Beyond these, we have several other projects currently in the works, all at different stages of development, including Assassin’s Creed Jade. We’re also looking into bringing co‑op back to Assassin’s Creed — a detail we know didn’t go unnoticed. And while we recently chose to pivot away from an early project, the lessons from that work are already helping shape our approach going forward.

What matters most to us is giving each project the time it deserves and releasing them when they are ready.

Speculation around Assassin’s Creed is not new, but it’s worth repeating: “Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.” Well, except in this case, some whispers have a little more wind in their sails. Keep your spyglass on the horizon.

Let’s now look at imminent updates!

Expect more news on the Netflix live-action series very soon! Yes, it’s been long in the making, but Assassin’s Creed is taking the leap to a live-action series! You may have seen news about the cast lately, and we can’t wait for you to discover more. Something tells us you won’t have to wait very long.

Finally, continuing to support our older games matters to us. We know how much those titles mean to many of you, and that they’re often the first entry point for new players discovering the franchise. And on this topic, we have a last thing to share…

A free 60 FPS patch for Assassin’s Creed Unity is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 tomorrow!

We know some of you have been waiting for it for a long time, so get ready to re‑experience 18th century Paris and Arno’s fancy parkour moves with more smoothness on consoles! And for our Xbox players out there, we’ve got a little treat, as multiple Assassin’s Creed games will be playable for free for a limited time for Xbox Free Play Days, from April 2nd to 6th! Perfect time to try Unity in that 60 FPS beauty.

As we conclude this update, for all our projects in development, we want to involve our most engaged fans in shaping them. If you’d like to be part of that, join the conversation – whether on our Discord or across our online channels. We’re always looking for passionate voices to share ideas, perspectives, and feedback to inspire our work and help shape the future of the franchise.

Emotional Narrative-Based Puzzle Adventure, The House of Hikmah, Releases 8 April 2026

Embark on a hopeful journey through a mystical realm inspired by the Islamic Golden Age

LOS ANGELES – 5 March 2026 – The House of Hikmah, the narrative-driven 3D adventure exploring grief and legacy from the AAA veterans at newly formed indie developer Lunacy Studios, comes to PC via Steam on Wednesday, 8 April 2026.

Enter the breathtaking House of Wisdom and explore its endless wonders as Maya, a curious and determined 14-year-old girl searching for answers after her father’s passing. Solve physics-based puzzles using an ancient elemental heirloom that her father left behind. Glide through wind channels and bend the matter of objects and larger than life structures to traverse the environment.

Meet an idiosyncratic cast of historical scholars from the Islamic Golden Age. Traverse and experience nine distinct worlds, each representative of a different scholars’ expertise, as well as their own healing journeys. Immerse in a thoughtfully-crafted adventure featuring fully voice-acted dialogue with talents such as Cairn’s Sophia Eleni as Maya, Battlefield 6’s Nezar Alderazi, Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Laila Alj, Split Fiction’s Ben Turner, Talal Karkouti, and more.

Every step taken within the Mystic Realm brings Maya closer to finding peace and healing, but the road will not be without its struggles. She must overcome a strong, surreal force embodying unmanaged grief known as the Widow to achieve her true goals.

This evocative tale was created by a team of industry veterans that have worked on well-known IPs such as the Grammy-nominated and BAFTA-winning Austin Wintory, Composer for Journey, Sword of the Sea, and The Pathless; as well as the Senior Level Designer for Star Wars: Battlefront, Mass Effect, and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood; a Programmer for Life is Strange, and more.

“We want to create a universally relatable story representing the difficult yet hopeful journey through grief”, said Faris Attieh, Creative Director, Lunacy Studios. “One of the ways we’ve achieved this is through Maya’s many interactions with the scholars. Their inclusion gave us not only an opportunity to showcase how her father’s life and his lessons had a significant impact on those around him, but it also enabled us to create representation for the Islamic Golden Age which has never been seen before in games.”

The House of Hikmah will be available on PC via Steam, featuring English and Arabic text and voiceover localization.

Nitrado and Hathora collaborate on customer transition to GameFabric

Karlsruhe, Germany, 04.03.2026Nitrado and Hathora announced today that they are working together to provide Hathora customers with a structured and supported transition to GameFabric by Nitrado following Hathora’s decision to wind down gaming operations, as the team will work on compute orchestration for AI inference at scale. The collaboration is designed to give studios and game operators a clear path forward, with hands-on migration support focused on continuity, stability, and minimizing disruption to live operations.

GameFabric by Nitrado is the best alternative on the market to support Hathora’s customers, particularly due to the similarities in technology setup and modern containerized server workflows. By combining platform fit with direct technical guidance, the transition is intended to help customers to execute their move with clarity and confidence.

GameFabric is built for modern multiplayer game server orchestration and supports the needs teams typically prioritize most in live operations, including automation, observability, elastic scaling, and infrastructure control through APIs and infrastructure-as-code workflows. Nitrado’s team will work directly with transitioning customers to review current setups, map key workflows, and define migration plans tailored to each game’s requirements. The company’s support model also includes direct access to experienced infrastructure engineers, technical guidance throughout the migration, and operational support for live environments.

“Supporting developers through infrastructure transitions is ultimately about protecting game stability and player continuity,” said Raphael Stange, CEO of Nitrado. “Our focus is to make this process practical, well-managed, and risk-free for teams that choose to move to GameFabric. We look forward to working closely with Hathora customers and supporting their games with the care and reliability they need during this transition.”

As part of the transition process, customers will be able to engage directly with Nitrado’s GameFabric team to evaluate migration timelines, technical requirements, and feature mapping from their current Hathora setup to GameFabric. Nitrado will provide hands-on guidance, including kickoff discussions, technical walkthroughs, and planning support to help teams validate the move before final cutover. This customer-first approach is intended to ensure that each migration is handled deliberately and with operational clarity.

Nitrado has more than two decades of experience in game server hosting and multiplayer infrastructure, with a track record of supporting studios such as Bohemia Interactive, CCP Games, Studio Wildcard, and Eleventh Hour Games. Through GameFabric, the company provides infrastructure for both session-based and persistent server environments, giving studios the flexibility to support different multiplayer architectures as their games evolve.

Hathora’s team decision reflects a shift in company focus rather than a change in the importance of multiplayer infrastructure for game developers. As studios continue to build and operate increasingly demanding live multiplayer experiences, the need for reliable, flexible, and well-supported infrastructure remains strong. Nitrado continues to invest in this space through GameFabric and its broader multiplayer platform capabilities.

About Nitrado
Nitrado is the leading global provider of private game server hosting with over two decades of experience in the industry. Through Nitrado and its subsidiary, Apex Hosting, millions of players and community creators enjoy high-quality, reliable game servers across the game industry’s most popular titles. For game studios, Nitrado provides GameFabric, a developer-first multiplayer server hosting and orchestration platform built on open standards. It grants studios full infrastructure sovereignty by balancing the performance of Nitrado-owned bare metal with the elasticity of GameFabric Cloud – Powered by Google Cloud or BYOC. Engineered for automation, the suite features API-first control with an official Terraform provider, ultra-low-latency scaling, and SteelShield™, our patented DDoS defense that authenticates UDP & TCP traffic at the network edge.

War Thunder is Getting Rank IX Jets

Update brings dozens of new vehicles, including World War II legends and the most modern models

Gaijin Entertainment announces that  the “Ninth Wave” major update for the online military action game War Thunder will be released in mid-March. It introduces Rank IX and the most modern generation 4+ aircraft, such as the F/A-18F and Su-30SM2. The major update will also feature Hungarian planes, redesigned classic maps like “White Rock Fortress” and “Ardennes” and dozens of new ground, air, and naval vehicles, including the American destroyer Helm, which was one of the first to fight back against the enemy at Pearl Harbor.

The Australian F/A-18F Super Hornet is a two-seat modification of the renowned fighter-bomber, capable of carrying a large number of AMRAAM active radar-homing missiles for long-range air combat and a vast arsenal of air-to-surface weapons for ground attack. These aircraft were delivered to the Australian Air Force from 2010 to 2012, and were used in Iraq in 2014.

White Rock Fortress, one of War Thunder’s first ground battle locations, was essentially rebuilt from scratch according to modern graphics standards, with an abundance of fine visual details, while maintaining the navigation familiar to veterans. A similar graphical overhaul awaits fans of the Ardennes map, with abandoned gun emplacements, collapsed buildings, and trees covered in autumn gold now look significantly better, while all approaches, bypasses, and terrain layout remain unchanged. There are also some gameplay innovations: abandoned vehicles (bulldozers and tractors) can now be used as temporary mobile cover by pushing them forward.

Hungarian combat aircraft will be added to the Italian aviation research tree, starting with the Héja I and II fighters, based on the all-metal Reggiane Re.2000 monoplane from the Second World War. The Héja I features an 8mm steel backplate, which adds some weight but significantly increases survivability. In the Héja II, Hungarian engineers installed a new domestically produced propeller-engine system, redistributed the fuel tanks, and installed Hungarian Gebauer 1940.M GKM heavy machine guns with a higher rate of fire.

The M1296 Dragoon is an American combat vehicle based on the Stryker platform, featuring a new unmanned turret with a 30 mm XM813 cannon. Its shells can effectively destroy light vehicles and helicopters, and even penetrate the side of any main battle tank. Its fast wheeled chassis allows it to accelerate to 100 km/h on hard surfaces, maneuver quickly, and flank the enemy.

More information about the “Ninth Wave” update can be found on the game’s official website.
