A curse is brought upon Heathmoor, bringing an overhaul of new content in For Honor
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — June 10, 2022 — Today, Ubisoft announced that For Honor’s Year 6 Season 2, Curse of the Scarab, will release on June 16. After the Great Cataclysm, Bolthorn used the stolen relics’ power in an attempt to save his people, but he unknowingly released a terrible curse upon Heathmoor in the process. Inspired by Egyptian mythology, this season introduces a new Hero Skin, a new Battle Pass and Battle Bundle, the Justice of the Pharaohs event, and brings back the Testing Grounds from June 30 to July 7 focusing on Guardbreak vulnerability changes.
The Curse of the Scarab will bring forth new in-game environment changes to reflect the curse brought over Heathmoor. Players can look forward to the three-part short story “Sands of Ruin,” which will reveal Bolthorn’s motivations for using the stolen relics and inadvertently dooming the land, and part one releases on June 17. The new event, Justice of the Pharaohs, has a new variation of the Dominion game mode, lootable weapons, a free event pass, and new orders. The playable event is on the Riverfort map, including ambiance and art updates, and takes place from June 16 until July 7th. More surprises will be revealed later in the season.
Year 6 Season 2’s Battle Pass will be available at launch with 100 tiers of different rewards reflecting the season’s theme. Players can grab the traditional Battle Pass for $14.95, or the Battle Bundle is available for $36.95, which includes the Battle Pass and instantly unlocks 25 tiers. Also, the new Hero skin, Bolthorn the Cursed, will be available at season launch for 25,000 Steel or $29.95.
With over 30 million players, For Honor is available to play now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with Xbox Game Pass, as well as on PlayStation®4 and Ubisoft+, the Ubisoft subscription service. For Honor is also playable on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X | S through backward compatibility.

GOAT SIMULATOR 3 LAUNCHES THIS SPRING WITH 4 “PERSON” ONLINE MULTIPLAYER
Gaming’s favourite goat-shaped wrecking ball returns with friends to cause udder mayhem in a brand new simulator experience releasing on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC
Sydney, Australia. June 10th — For the Summer Game Fest 2022, Coffee Stain Publishing, Coffee Stain North and Koch Media are udderly proud to announcethe long-dreaded sequel to the global annoyance ‘Goat Simulator’. Goat Simulator 3 releases this spring on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 and on PC exclusively on the Epic Games Store.
Watch the reveal trailer of Goat Simulator 3:
This follow up to 2014’s Goat Simulator starts an all-new adventure, once again featuring Pilgor the goat. This time she’s found new pastures on the sprawling sandbox island of San Angora, a place where mysteries and chaos follow wherever you go. Players are free to roam around and discover the island’s secrets or, well, just destroy stuff. This is a Goat Simulator, after all.
Built from the gravel up, this next generation of goat simulation has it all; Goats, goats wearing hats, goats riding a goat wearing a hat. There are also unnatural disasters, secret animal societies, triple jumping and probably any other nonsense you could think up. But truly, what is all this exciting newness without friends to explore it with? In Goat Simulator 3, you can gather as a herd of up to 4 friends to be the goats of your dreams, together. Yes, Goat Simulator 3 has online multiplayer!
Key features:
GOATS: You play as a goat! Pilgor, to be exact. However, you’ll also have the chance to wear the skins of many other ‘goats’. Tall goats, tasty goats, angry goats – all the goats you expect and more.
MULTIPLAYER: Your friends play as goats too! Goat Simulator 3 has 4 player co-op, locally or online. You’ll be able to travel through the world together, cause cooperative mischief aplenty, and compete in 7 fun multiplayer mini-games, and then not be friends anymore.
EXPLORATION: Goat Simulator 3’s giant new sandbox has plenty to discover – hidden secrets, quests, collectables and the devs actually bothered to make an ending this time! Use your own four hooves to get around, grind on your butt or buckle up for the ride of your life as all goats can drive cars*.
CHAOS AND REACTIVITY: Cause all manner of mayhem as you lick, headbutt, crash and explode your way across the map, leaving no NPC unannoyed. Toy with the universally recognised four elements (Fire, Electricity, Oil and Alien Goo), test the limits of the world’s physics, and interact with suspicious objects for… surprising results.
CUSTOMISATION: Players can fully customise their goat’s Head, Back, Feet, Body, Horns and Furs with over 300 different gear parts to choose from – from toilet rolls to tea trays… and other actual clothing items, if you want to be like that. Some gear parts will mutate your playstyle by giving you new abilities, all will alter your perceived sense of style.
Santiago Ferrero, Creative Director at Coffee Stain North said “Since the release of the first Goat Simulator, it’s come to our attention that it did not really represent reality and how it actually feels to be a goat. So, for the past couple of years, we’ve been doing some googling, and I am pleased to say – we’ve made it. Goat Simulator 3 is by far the greatest goat experience out there. Is it worth the money? Who knows? But will you regret it? Probably.”
Goat Simulator 3 is a direct sequel to Goat Simulator, a silly game that started life as an April Fool’s joke born out of a game jam. In 2014, Goat Simulator became a true goat simulation sensation, selling millions of units across consoles and PC, as well as ‘earning’ ports to Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and most-recently Apple Arcade.
Goat Simulator 3 builds on everything fans of the first game loved, raising the baa to brand new heights (sometimes literally). Goat Simulator 3 is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 this this spring on the Southern Hemisphere and for PC exclusively on the Epic Games Store.

Magic: The Gathering meets Dungeons & Dragons for the second instalment of Commander Legends
Friday 10 June, 2022 — Wizards of the Coast today released Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate, the latest set for the world’s oldest and best trading card game, Magic: The Gathering (MTG). Expanding from 2020’s Commander Legends, Battle for Baldur’s Gate further innovates the Limited format by integrating iconic characters and thrilling mechanics from the popular role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons (D&D). The set contains 361 cards and releases for tabletop today.
Journey to Baldur’s Gate, the most influential metropolis in the Forgotten Realms. A city-state flourishing with commerce, Baldur’s Gate attracts wealth-seeking merchants, penniless refugees and other characters from all over Faerûn seeking opportunity within its massive walls. Featuring D&D icons such as Tasha the Witch, Elminster, and fan-favourite duo Minsc and Boo, Battle for Baldur’s Gate allows players to weave a tale of power and intrigue as you battle your friends in Magic’s most popular multiplayer format.
The latest instalment to Commander Legends offers more freedom than ever for players to build their own legend. A set specifically designed to be drafted, Battle for Baldur’s Gate breaks the Singleton rule of traditional Commander play by allowing for two or more of the same card to be included in a deck.
Elements of roleplay adapted from D&D are also seen in Backgrounds, a new type of enchantment. Legendary Background cards represent the story that brought your commander to the point where we find them now. Each one gives your commander a bonus. Most often, this bonus comes in the form of an ability your commander gains or a boost to their power and/or toughness.
Veterans of D&D can tell you that initiative is important, and it’s important in Battle for Baldur’s Gate as well. Initiative, a new keyword ability, enables three significant bonuses: First, whenever a player takes the initiative, they venture into Undercity (Undercity is a new dungeon card). Second, the player with the initiative ventures into Undercity again at the beginning of their upkeep. Third, several cards in the set get better if you have the initiative.
True to the lore of Baldur’s Gate, the second Commander Legends set sees the return of Rulebook frames. Every Legendary Creature card receives a frame styled to the look and feel of the Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual, evoking the classic rulebook aesthetic cherished by fans of the tabletop game.
Stunning Borderless frames are also available for certain Mythic Rare Planeswalkers, artifacts and creatures, including five new Mythic Elder Dragons that each embody a colour and a powerful ability.
Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate will be available as Draft Boosters, Set Boosters and Collector Boosters, as well as Precon Commander Decks, a Prerelease pack, and a special Commander Legends Bundle containing an oversized D20.
Magic: The Gathering’s compelling characters, fantastic worlds, and deep strategic gameplay have entertained and delighted fans for more than 25 years. Fans can experience Magic through the tabletop trading card game, the digital game Magic: The Gathering Arena, a New York Times bestselling novel, and a critically acclaimed comic book series. With more than 40 million fans to date, Magic is a worldwide phenomenon published in 11 languages in more than 70 countries.
