Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder Unleashes Chaos with 1.0 Release on Consoles, PC this Summer

1.0 Version Debuts Plethora of Never Before Seen Content Simultaneously to PlayStation 5|4, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia — June 21, 2022 — Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder, the roguelike tactical auto-battler from developer Konfa Games and publisher tinyBuild where commanders build their squad of puny humans into a legion of wizards, ninjas, and dozens of other heroes while leading them through a strange post-apocalyptic labyrinth, exits Steam Early Access to 1.0 release on PlayStation 5|4, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC this summer.

The nefarious d’Spot has spoken–Despot’s Game soon leaves Early Access to join the console and PC ranks with revamped mechanics, new quests, enemies, mutations, and an expanded soundtrack. Terrorizing the naked and memory-less humans as they try to escape an endless maze-like complex has never been so fun.

Equip the unarmed masses with one of 50 weapons ranging from conventional swords and guns to ridiculous apparatuses like stale pretzels throwers, magical rabbits-in-a-hat, and damage-soaking refrigerators. Make use of 10 human classes including throwers, mages, and cultists, building up their ranks and diversifying armaments to unlock power-ups that aid in battles.

Keep the ranks well-fed and deploy them strategically for a better chance at survival. While mages and shooters provide support with long-range attacks, fighters sporting Rocky’s iconic boxing gloves and tanks with protective periodic tables should take the front lines for hands-on combat and protection.

Stack mutations to strengthen forces, like invoking “Glory to Satan” to sacrifice a newcomer and summon an eldritch tentacle that deals massive damage to foes. Smash through 60 types of monsters with destructive abilities to survive these chaotic killing games. From man-eating cabbages and killer robots to necromancers joined by vicious giant skeletons ready to drop humans into black portals, many perils await.

Today, players can enjoy Despot’s Game for the first time on consoles via an Xbox demo featuring the first levels of the Early Access dungeons. Alongside the 1.0 release, the game also gains a new mode focused on an enhanced multiplayer experience.

“Over the past months, we really listened to our community to learn what would make Despot’s Game even greater,” said Nikolay Kuznetsov, Game Creator, Konfa Games. “From that came exciting revamped mechanics to better the player experience and a ton of new content that we are proud to release across all consoles and mobile. Now, there’s no more excuse to stay out of Despot’s Game’s chaotic madness!”

Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder is available now on Steam Early Access for Windows PC for USD $14.99 / EUR €14.99. It supports English, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese languages.

Hell Pie Hooks Up with Electric Callboy for the Ultimate Metal Collaboration

Dueren, Germany – June 21st, 2022 – Headup and Sluggerfly are pleased to announce a collaboration with Electric Callboy, the award-winning metal band known for their hilarious tracks and music videos, for upcoming 3D platformer Hell Pie. Fusing Hell Pie and Electric Callboy’s shared love of all things metal, the collaboration will see four skins included in the game based on the band’s latest songs.

The skins will be based on the mullet-heavy Hypa Hypa, the head-pumping We Got The Moves, the gym-core extravaganza Pump It and the sci-fi-suited song that is Spaceman and will complementHell Pie’s offbeat and spectacularly funny flavour perfectly.

Hell Pie is an old-school-inspired, heavy metal infused 3D platformer that takes bad taste to the next level. You grab the horns of Nate, the ‘Demon of Bad Taste’, tasked with gathering the disgusting ingredients for Satan’s infamous birthday pie. Venture out into the overworld and do whatever it takes to ensure those ingredients are secured in time, or there’ll be hell to pay!

Luckily Nate isn’t alone on this quest, with his ‘pet’ angel Nugget ready and able to offer support. Nugget offers his holy insight when needed but, more importantly, is chained to Nate, so he can be used as a grappling hook or swung around as a weapon. Nate can also equip horns he finds across the world to give him new hellish abilities, from charging through enemies and boulders , to gliding through the air. Together, Nate and Nugget will explore wild environments, meet tons of unsavoury enemies and characters, and witness some truly shocking sights in the seriously twisted take on the classic mascot platformer.

About Electric Callboy
Formed in 2010 under the name Eskimo Callboy, the band has already made plenty of noise and caused a worldwide sensation in the first decade of its existence but judging by what’s been going on in the last two years, that was just the prelude. Since the singer Nico Sallach, who joined the band in 2020, the guys from Castrop-Rauxel are really going for it! The very first single with him became the biggest success in the band’s history so far. “Hypa Hypa” reached over 60 million plays in record time! The two following singles “We Got The Moves” and “Pump It”, which will be featured on the upcoming album “TEKKNO”, are also the talk of the world with their spectacularly funny videos.

Electric Callboy are currently out on their “Hypy Hypa European Tour 2022” that has sold out with more than 60k tickets, followed by a bunch of Summer Festivals till September, a tour through the UK and France till early October and the “Level Up Tour 2022” with numerous shows in the US till the end of 2022.
