About Blade Runner The Roleplaying Game

A neon-noir wonderland that’ll take your breath away. One way or another.
An evocative world of conflicts and contrasts that dares to ask the hard questions and investigate the powers of empathy, the poisons of fear, and the burdens of being human during inhumane times. An iconic and unforgiving playground of endless possibilities that picks you up, slaps you in the face, and tells you to wake up.
Time to live. Or time to die.

Released in 2022, the Blade Runner The Roleplaying Game propels you into the streets of Los Angeles as Blade Runners with unique specialties, personalities – and memories. The game pushes the boundaries of investigative gameplay in tabletop RPGs, giving you a range of tools to solve an array of cases far beyond retiring Replicants.

Beyond the core casework, the RPG showcases the key themes of Blade Runner – sci-fi action, corporate intrigue, existential character drama, and moral conflict. It challenges you to question your friends, empathize with your enemies, and explore the poisons and perseverance of hope and humanity during inhumane times.

The World’s Biggest Text-Based MMO, TORN, Surpasses 100,000 Daily Active Players After 22 Years At The Top

TORN has announced that, as of Monday, April 27, their text-based crime RPG has officially surpassed 100,000 daily active players for the first time in the game’s history.

Now in its 22nd year of operation, this record breaking milestone highlights TORN’s continued success as a community-driven experience and complex social simulation, one which continues to thrive and surprise decades after its release. In January 2024, TORN recorded 48,515 daily active players. Just over two years later, that figure has more than doubled, breaking the 100,000 mark for the first time ever.

“Since our launch in 2004, our Daily Active Players counter has been the primary metric we’ve used to assess the health of TORN’s playerbase. Breaking the five-digit barrier on the login page counter has been a dream of mine for a very long time, one I genuinely never thought was possible.

This incredible growth was made possible by two initiatives. First, we worked hard to increase TORN’s capacity to host more players through widespread optimisation across our infrastructure and codebase. Second, we pushed our advertising and PR campaigns in multiple new directions. Thankfully, we’ve been successful on both counts. TORN is faster than it has ever been, despite the vast increase in our playerbase, and for the first time in two decades we are seeing significant, sustained growth.” – Joe Chedburn, Founder of TORN.

About TORN

Launched in 2004, TORN began life as a bedroom PHP experiment conducted by Joe Chedburn, a 16-year-old college dropout working part-time at Greggs. Today, the game is run by a team of around fifty developers and creatives spread across the UK, USA, Ukraine, Thailand and beyond.

TORN’s playerbase has grown with the game – mostly because they never log off – with marriages, births, and even a few real-life job offers resulting from its existence. Its established playerbase of veterans is constantly refreshed, with over 30,000 new citizens arriving in the past year alone, many of whom now likely find themselves on several government watchlists.

With no release dates, no toxic crunch culture, and no shareholders to placate, TORN continues to expand at its own pace. New features and updates are scheduled for 2026 and beyond, with the developers committed to releasing content only when it is ready. That dedication to quality has helped TORN to outlive its rivals, with its longevity meaning it will likely persist beyond the lives of its creators, players, and possibly the internet itself.

DiabloUnleashes “Reward the Scars”, New Video and Song from KoЯn

New Original Song Debuts Alongside Global Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred Launch, Marking the Legendary Band’s First New Music in Over Four Years

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today debuted a music video for “Reward the Scars,” an original new song created by Korn, the multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning band whose influence has shaped heavy music for over three decades. The song, released alongside the new Diablo® IV expansion, Lord of Hatred™, is Korn’s first new music in over four years. Channelling the emotional weight, intensity, and darkness that both brands are known for, “Reward the Scars” explores what remains after the fight: pain, survival, and what that ultimately turns you into.

Long recognised for their raw, confessional songwriting and willingness to confront themes of pain, trauma, and transformation, Korn bring a perspective that naturally aligns with Diablo’s universe, thus making the collaboration feel like an extension of their core identity.

The song was debuted live during Korn’s recent set at Sick New World, offering fans an early glimpse of the prodigious track. The official music video builds on that, bringing Diablo’s world to life through a visual lens defined by dread, power, and resistance.

“I’ve played Diablo for years, so getting to step into that world creatively felt natural,” said Jonathan Davis, Korn frontman. “I’ve always connected to the darkness in the game and the idea of confronting what lives beneath the surface –– that’s something Korn has explored in our music from the beginning. ‘Reward the Scars’ came out of our own writing sessions as a new Korn song, and it became clear pretty quickly that it was a natural fit for Diablo.”

“This collaboration came together naturally—Korn and Diablo live in that space of confronting darkness head-on,” said Kevin Bjelajac, VP of Brand & Creative Marketing at Blizzard. “With Lord of Hatred, we’re telling a story about consequence, choice, and what it means to embrace—or resist—the pull of evil. ‘Reward the Scars’ captures that spirit perfectly.”

The “Reward the Scars” music video is available on both Diablo and Korn official channels.

Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, launching today, is the second expansion to Diablo IV and the climactic conclusion to the Age of Hatred saga. As the hour of reckoning approaches, players are drawn into a final confrontation with Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred, whose influence now threatens to consume Sanctuary entirely. What began as an act to contain evil now comes due—forcing players to face the consequences of that choice and determine the fate of a world on the brink.

Imbibe to Survive in Tipsy Russian Roulette Survival “Drunken Goddess Reflux” on PC Later This Year

TOKYO — 25 April 2026 — Drunken Goddess Reflux, the tipsy roguelike survival game from publisher Alliance Arts and developer WHO YOU, does its best to hold its liquor on PC via Steam in 2026, as revealed today during INDIE Live Expo.

Drink as if life depends on it…because it does! Go shot-for-shot against an alcoholic demon who really enjoys your company, and fight the urge to vomit in a life-or-death Russian Roulette night of madness.

The drinks may be neat, but your sanity is on the rocks as three glasses full of who knows what determine how the rest of the night goes. Best case scenario? Dangerously high blood alcohol levels. Worst case? Spilled blood, as the demon seeks eternal company…okay, look, she wants to kill you because she loves you. She wants to spend an eternity together!

Each shot glass contains an unknown amount of alcohol, and outdrinking an eternal being is not for lightweights. Every round of booze has different strengths and effects — strategically pick your poison, earn Trick Cards after every drink, and explore the surrounding bar to locate lingering spirits granting special skills.

As the night goes on, the pours get stronger. Do whatever it takes to stave off lowered inhibitions, even if it means driving icepicks into your hands (the pain helps with staying alert!) As the demon loses her wits, she has increasing trouble enforcing the rules of the game — pull clever tricks while she’s none the wiser, and drink her under the table to escape unscathed.

Drunken Goddess Reflux arrives on PC via Steam in 2026 with language options in English, Japanese and Chinese (Simplified). For more information, visit Alliance Arts’ official website and follow them on X / Twitter.

Mario Kart’s Trade Secrets Probed In Video Celebrating PGRC’s European Tour DLC Release

Did you know you might not actually be controlling a car in Mario Kart? Indie dev Walaber explains why

Los Angeles, CA – April 27th, 2026 – With Parking Garage Rally Circuit’s European Tour DLC out today on Steam for $4.99 / €4.50 / £4.29, solo-dev Walaber has taken the opportunity to delve into the inner workings of some of the game’s inspirations. An explanation of why you might not actually be controlling a car in Mario Kart is just one subject he tackles in his deep dive into drifting. Walaber goes on to show how he implemented drifting and boost stacking in the confines of a car park in Parking Garage Rally Circuit, which adds 8 multistorey car parks inspired by real locations today with European Tour. A release date for the console versions of Parking Garage Rally Circuit and European Tour will be announced at a later date.

European Tour doubles the size of the original game, adding 8 multistorey car parks and a full new soundtrack from The Holophonics. Visit multistory car parks in Paris (Art Car Park), York (York Castle Car Park), Turin (Car Factory), Montpellier (Double Loop), Hamburg (Concert Hall), Copenhagen (Power Plant), Geneva (Parking Tour) and Naples (Cave Park) as you drift and boost your way to victory in the single-player mode, or against other players online. These locations are all inspired by real multistorey carparks, though the odd underwater tunnel or falling stalactites may suggest a touch of artistic liberty.

Designed to look, feel and sound like a lost Sega Saturn game that could have been released in 1998, Parking Garage Rally Circuit delivers delightfully fun racing that’s easy to pick up and play with its chainable Mario Kart-style boosts, but requires skill to master as you unlock new car classes and compete to top the leaderboards. Head online to create and join lobbies of up to 8 players and race on any track, with any car class, gaining points after each race. The game also features an arcade-style ‘Endurance’ mode where you keep doing laps until you run out of time and cheat codes to discover that unlock fun modifiers, as well as special cars and tracks.

The base version of Parking Garage Rally Circuit featuring 8 American car parks to race in is available now on Steam for $9.99 / €8.99 / £8.50. News of a console release date for Parking Garage Rally Circuit and European Tour is coming soon.

There Are No Ghosts at the Grand Reveals New Gameplay Features in Latest ID@Xbox Trailer

Friday Sundae’s musical, Lovecraftian renovation game shows off open-world renovation, night-time clue-hunting, supernatural secrets, and a 30 day time limit

Bristol, UK – 27 April 2026 – Friday Sundae has released a brand new trailer for There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, following its reveal during the ID@Xbox Indie Showcase presented by IGN.

The trailer showcases new gameplay features from the studio’s upcoming musical, Lovecraftian renovation game, including open-world restoration, night-time supernatural investigations, and hidden ghost stories. It also reveals the 30 in-game days and nights players have to restore the Grand Hotel, explore the surrounding village, and uncover the truth behind its increasingly strange history.

In There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, players take on the role of Chris David, an American who unexpectedly inherits a crumbling English seaside hotel. By day, Chris must renovate the Grand and help restore the surrounding village of Kingswood-on-Sea. By night, those same locations begin to reveal something stranger beneath the wallpaper, broken windows, and fading paint.

Check out the brand new gameplay trailer

The new trailer shows how players can roam beyond the hotel into a small open world, discovering broken-down shops and buildings in need of repair. These spaces can be renovated and decorated using the game’s renovation tools, including the sandblaster, paint sprayer and furniture cannon, with some restorations unlocking ghost stories, hidden memories, and secrets contained within the buildings themselves.

The trailer also offers a new look at the game’s night-time investigations. As the sun goes down, players use their talking power tools to search for clues, investigate eerie locations such as the village church, and begin to unravel the supernatural mystery at the heart of the game. Renovation tools take on a second life after dark, becoming part of the player’s ghost-hunting arsenal as the game shifts from cosy restoration to something far more supernatural.

The trailer also reveals more about the game’s 30 day and 30 night structure. Players must choose how to spend their limited time, balancing renovation, exploration, relationships, and investigation as the mystery tightens around the player, the Grand Hotel, and the townspeople who seem to know more than they are saying.

The trailer features “Skeletons in the Closet”, an original song performed by Marcia Richards of The Skints, who voices the character Lily in the game. The track is one of more than ten original songs featured in There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, where each key character has their own musical story waiting to be uncovered.

There Are No Ghosts at the Grand is a narrative-rich exploration game with renovation gameplay, supernatural mystery, musical storytelling, and a small open world set in a fading English seaside town. Players will renovate by day, hunt ghosts by night, and discover why everyone keeps insisting that there are no ghosts at the Grand.
