SEOUL – Nov. 11, 2022 – NEXON Korea Corp (CEO: Jung-Hun Lee) announced on Thursday, Nov. 10 that the mobile character-collecting RPG, Argent Twilight: Secret of the Dark Orbs (simply referred to as Argent Twilight below), developed by Nexon Korea, will begin service in Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong via Google Play and Apple App Store.

In July, Argent Twilight launched on Google Play and the Apple App Store in Canada and Malaysia. It has now expanded to include Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. It is a strategic turn-based battle and character-collecting RPG featuring vibrant anime-style graphics. The game provides a complete battle experience where players combine the unique skills and attributes of more than 300 heroes to form an optimal team set up for victory.

Players can also participate in “Resolute Battlefield,” a PvP mode where players engage in tactical combat, “Conquests,” intense PvE boss battles and the main story in which players will unravel the secrets of the Dark Orbs.

To celebrate the opening of Argent Twilight’s new service regions, Nexon will be hosting a login event giving out various rewards such as “Diamond Feathers” (items that summon 4-5★ heroes), as well as “5★Skillbooks.” Additional rewards include “EXP Boosts,” “Super Leveling Potions,” and “Rubies” which can be used to improve heroes up to 6★.

Nexon will also be hosting the “Djur’s Mysterious Pottery” minigame until Wednesday, Dec. 14. Users can play a card match game to obtain various growth materials as prizes. There will also be daily missions where players collect letters of the alphabet. If all letters are collected, players can exchange them for a “Diamond Feather” that can be used to obtain a 4-5★ hero.

Plans are still in motion to add additional service regions beyond Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong so that players across the globe can enjoy Argent Twilight.

A Main Story all about the SRT Special Academy! – Three new students, Miyako, Saki and Miyu, will be introduced! Nexon is hosting several events to celebrate the 1st Anniversary. Players will receive a 10-Recruitment Ticket to celebrate the Main Story Update.

SEOUL – Nov. 10, 2022 – On Wednesday, Nov. 9, NEXON Korea Corp. (CEO: Jung-Hun Lee) announced the next main story update for the hit game Blue Archive titled “Vol. 4 Rabbit of Caerbannog.”

The story will focus on students from the SRT Special Academy. When the RABBIT Squad holds a sit-in protest against closing the SRT Special Academy in Kousagi Park, the General Student Council asks Sensei to step in and help.  

Several new students from the SRT Special Academy will appear. Miyako, a piercing-type striker, uses her EX Skill to both stun and deal damage to a single enemy proportional to her attack. Saki is a Piercing-type Special student whose EX Skill stuns and deals damage to enemies within a circular range. Miyu, a Piercing-type Striker, applies the Weakness Detection effect to one enemy for 10 seconds when using her EX Skill. The target receives additional damage proportional to Miyu’s ATK for each successive attack while the effect is active.

Nexon will also host several events ahead of Blue Archive’s first anniversary. First, Lessons, Commissions, and Bounties will earn triple rewards during the 3x Rewards Campaign happening now through Friday, Nov. 22. Players will also receive 100 Pyroxenes every day that they log in through Tuesday, Nov. 15, as well as the opportunity to see special illustrations representing each academy in Blue Archive, including Abydos High School and Trinity General School.

Through Wednesday, Nov. 30, Blue Archive will have a First Anniversary login event. During that time, players can receive 200 Pyroxenes each day leading up to the day seven reward: 3-Star Expandable Traditional Wooden Windows!

All players who log in anytime up to Tuesday, Nov. 15 will receive a 10-Recruitment Ticket gift to celebrate the main story update.

New trailer and Nintendo Switch version of roguelike deckbuilding survival adventure revealed at Today’s JP Nintendo Indie World

TOKYO – Nov. 10, 2022 – The Tower -To the Bottom- (Working Title), a real-time roguelike deckbuilding survival adventure, took part in the Japanese-language Indie World showcase. The Switch version and its Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023 release date, shipping simultaneously on Steam for PC, were revealed by Nintendo.

Living atop a bizarre, shifting tower, a group of 20 lost children scrounge for survival. In hopes of finding precious bread, and in search of the rumored paradise at the bottom, they descend into the tower’s depths, two at a time. Contend with cards that flip thus altering their functions, either throwing a wrench in carefully-laid plans or providing a surprising new strategy. After each battle, choose the appropriate reward; adding one of the game’s 70 cards might help slay future foes, but bread can help feed the inhabitants back up top or heal the current adventuring party.

Discover new upgrades for the kids’ base as they advance from starving children to a self-sufficient commune, albeit one seeking answers to just what lies beyond the ends of The Tower.
