FUTURISTIC TOMMY PLAY METAVERSE STORE OPENS ON ROBLOX
In this next expansion of the ‘TOMMY PLAY’ space, a new retail store inspired by Bronx-street culture opens its doors to the Roblox community.
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS (JULY 2022) – Tommy Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], further expands its ever-evolving Roblox experience with a virtual TOMMY PLAY store. The brand’s presence on Roblox launched in December 2021 with eight digital fashion designers from the Roblox community creating the Tommy X Roblox Creators collection. The collaboration then expanded to include the June 2022 launch of TOMMY PLAY, an immersive social space with ongoing content updates for the Roblox community. This latest step reflects Tommy Hilfiger’s continued ambitions to offer unique brand experiences to its global community.

Aiming to defy physics, the TOMMY PLAY store is spacious and set high in the sky. With a nod to the brand’s heritage, the store displays large stone animal statues inspired by the Bronx Zoo and features tags from local street artists – paying homage to the Bronx’s iconic imagery.
The store is a hub for the TOMMY JEANS Pop collection, products which include iconic puffers, windbreakers, hoodies and accessories, such as a logoed bucket hat and bumbag. Alongside the retail space, the main attraction is parkour, where the community can enter a spray paint area to create their own tags and unlock street dancing. Roblox users also can work towards getting into a secret space, complete with a DJ booth for hosting parties. Once achieved, users will find favorites such as a hotdog backpack and the chicken – now a main character in this map.
In this latest expansion phase, some of the original UGC creators from the December 2021 launch helped design the futuristic retail store – and some new creators joined up to help stock and design the digital store. Friday 22 July, 2022 — Wizards of the Coast today released Secret Lair Drop Series: Fortnite, the latest collaboration in a series of limited edition cards for Magic: The Gathering (MTG). Secret Lair x Fortnite consists of two mini sets: one for general Fortnite cards containing reskins of existing Magic cards and one for lands and locations in the game. The two mini sets combine for a total of 12 Fortnite-themed cards in both foil and non-foil for players to collect.
The regular Fortnite drop features seven cards reskinned from Magic’s past as Fortnite characters, items and other concepts. Paris, July 21, 2022 – Today, Ubisoft released its sales figures for the first quarter of fiscal 2022-23, i.e., the three months ended June 30, 2022.
Frédérick Duguet, Chief Financial Officer, said “We delivered a slightly better than expected performance in the quarter, with notably outperformances from Rainbow Six Siege and the Assassin’s Creed brand. The past months have been very active, with the gameplay reveals of Mario Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Skull and Bones. Players’ feedback for the reveal of The Division Resurgence and for the ongoing tests of Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Heartland and XDefiant have been supportive.”

Q1 ACTIVITY
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege performed ahead of expectations. The team has been hard at work to deliver very ambitious Year 7 content, translating into a stabilization of PRI thanks to a very strong DARPU and Battle Pass conversion.
The Assassin’s Creed brand also performed ahead of expectations on the back of a strong quarter from Odyssey, Origins and Valhalla. We saw a significant uptick in overall engagement, with double-digit active player growth versus last year as players were excited by the beginning of the campaign for the 15th Anniversary of the brand. This campaign will be marked by a series of celebrations for the community throughout the summer that will lead to the unveiling of the future of Assassin’s Creed in September during a very special event.
Roller Champions™ has been well received by players for its fun and dynamic gameplay. On both retention and revenues KPIs, Roller Champions is tracking ahead of Hyper Scape™.
PIPELINE OF GAMES
Ubisoft showcased Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, set to release on October 20th, with a first glimpse into its gameplay. The community applauded the tactical aspect of the game, and Gamespot described the upcoming game as “primed to surprise players all over again, with a greater degree of flexibility and more Mario like mechanics”. The community is eagerly awaiting its launch which is one of the most anticipated Nintendo Switch releases this year.
Skull and Bones also made its comeback with an extended gameplay walkthrough. The core strength of the game revolves around its unique combination of a gritty pirate fantasy, dynamic and action-packed naval combat as well as multiplayer features, based on both co-op and PvP, that will allow players to have memorable moments with friends. The game will release on November 8th.
On free-to-play, we revealed Tom Clancy’s The Division: Resurgence the upcoming mobile title in the brand’s universe. Built from the ground up on mobile, the game will be based on an independent storyline and stay true to the brand DNA with a vast open world in a very detailed urban environment with stunning graphics for the platform. With this title, we are bringing The Division franchise to a significantly larger audience. Initial player reception has been very positive.
The quarter was also very active on the other Free-to-Play initiatives as different testing phases for XDefiant,Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Heartland took place around the world. Player feedback was supportive throughout these respective tests which will continue over the coming months.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will now release in 2023-24. We are committed to delivering a cutting-edge immersive experience that takes full advantage of next-gen technology, as this amazing global entertainment brand represents a major multi-year opportunity for Ubisoft.
We also decided to release in 2023-24 a smaller unannounced premium game, originally slated for 2022-23.
While this additional development time is a reflection of the current ongoing constraints on productions across the industry, we are hard at work to design the most efficient working conditions to ensure both flexibility for our teams as well as strong productivity while delivering the best experiences to players.

PLAY GREEN: PROGRESS ON UBISOFT’S ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENTS
Ubisoft has received the official Target Validation from the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi), confirming that Ubisoft’s 2030 carbon reduction objective is in line the goal to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Ubisoft is the first pure-player video game company to receive its official Target Validation by the SBTi.
APPROVAL OF ALL RESOLUTIONS AT UBISOFT’S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Ubisoft’s shareholders approved all the resolutions on the agenda for its Annual General Meeting early July with approval rates above 95%. The vote notably led to the appointment of Claude France as independent director, who brings her expertise in technology, both in cloud and online services, as well as her experience working in international multi-cultural environments. With this appointment, the Board returns to an absolute majority of independent directors, reaches 45% women, and includes three employee-representatives.

IFRS 15 sales for the first quarter of 2022-23 came to €318.2 million, down 9.8% (13.9% at constant exchange rates[1]) compared with the €352.8 million generated in first-quarter 2021-22.
First-quarter 2022-23 net bookings totaled €293.3 million, exceeding the target of around €280.0 million and down 10.0% (14.2% at constant exchange rates) on the €326.0 million figure for the first quarter of 2021-22.

The standard edition will be available only in Digital and will contain the game. Pre-orders for this edition will unlock the “Android 18 Transphere” with the “Wall Kick” skill and the “Scouter (Blue)” accessory.

Taking place in the DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE universe,DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERSwill pit a team of seven Survivors trying to escape one Raider. The Raider, one of the major antagonists from the franchise, will have to use their overwhelming power and increasingly powerful evolutions to hunt and defeat the Survivors.
Survivors are regular civilians that have been caught in a “Temporal Seam”, trapping them in a place where space and time are in disarray. The main objective of Survivors is to escape the Temporal Seam using various gadgets, the most valuable of which are Transpheres, that contain the souls of Super warriors and grant special abilities and powers when used.
In this dangerous environment that Survivors share with the Raider, the hope is to use the Super Time Machine to evade the Temporal Seam before their enemy becomes unstoppable.

New Packs Planned for August & September With the Vermeer Pack, virtual farmers look forward to the digitalization of the world’s first self-propelled baler, the ZR-5. Overall, five efficient and unique machines from the North-American manufacturer Vermeer are included. Releasing on August 23rd, it’s already available for pre-order. A Vermeer Pack teaser offers a first glimpse at the machines.
Presented and published by GIANTS Software, the Pumps N’ Hoses Pack releases on September 27th. Developed by the third-party studio Creative Mesh, Pumps N’ Hoses offers umbilical systems (using pumps and hoses to spread fertilizer more efficiently and soil-friendly), manure separation and configurable biogas plants. Over 30 new items are included.
First Look at November’s Platinum Expansion Map The Platinum Expansion & Platinum Edition add more than 40 new machines by Volvo Group and others to Farming Simulator 22, as well as a new map: Silverrun Forest. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest of the United States, the map was presented for the first time with a map teaser video. With a lush landscape dominated by vast areas of forest, players enjoy harvesting and planting new types of trees while taking on new missions and providing logs to develop various points of interest.
More Presentations and Details on Saturday While fans of Farming Simulator meet at the John Deere Forum in Mannheim, Germany on the weekend, GIANTS Software will stream the stage program scheduled on Saturday on the company’s official Twitch channel starting at 10 am CEST. Fans and gamers will learn more about the making of Farming Simulator and the upcoming content. GIANTS Software even offers something exciting for fans to enjoy immediately in celebration of FarmCon: The John Deere tractors 5M Series and 710 (this historical tractor was launched 1965 by John Deere-Lanz in Mannheim) are now available for download on the official ModHub.

Those looking for a different type of asymmetric multiplayer game will have a new take on the genre arriving in a few months as Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be releasing worldwide on October 14th. Developed by Dimps, the game will offer a closed network test from August 5th to the 6th and potential players can register here. The closed test times can be found below:

Also revealed today was a quick look at Frieza who joins the likes of Buu and Cell as characters that players will control as villains who try to eliminate the other players who are attempting to survive the match through team work and various distractions.
It appears that the upcoming Avatar video game is going to be as delayed as the second movie has been as Ubisoft has announced that the title will no longer be releasing this year. The company announced during a financial earnings report today that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will no longer be arriving in 2022 and will now be releasing sometime during the fiscal year of 2023-2024. No reason for the delay nor was an exact specific date given at the time of the announcement.
This pushes the game past the release of Avatar 2‘s theatrical debut this December and while we have yet to see much of the game since it was announced back in 2021 Ubisoft is currently aiming to release Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC.
