Hertfordshire, 13^th October 2022 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer GUST Studios announced all new characters and gameplay details for the JRPG, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key coming 24^th February 2023 for the Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Windows PC via Steam®. The game follows fan-favourite alchemist, Reisalin Stout, and her mischievous friends on their third summer adventure as they set off to investigate a group of mysterious islands that have suddenly appeared, adversely affecting the stability of their hometown, Kurken Island. 

While uncovering the mysteries surrounding the islands, Ryza and friends are able to explore with a greater sense of adventure than in past Atelier games – discovering landmarks, hidden areas, wildlife, and even randomly occurring quests. The story progresses through encounters and discoveries in the field and underwater as Ryza is able to climb cliffs, zip line across the shore, and summon a water beast to scale waterfalls! As players continue to explore the vast regions, various discoveries begin to tie in with the main story. Some wild animals can lead to treasure chests or provide materials, landmarks enable fast travel, and you never know what you’ll uncover when you find hidden areas in the field!

Throughout their journey across the strange islands, Ryza and friends will meet a variety of charismatic misfits to help aid in their adventures. The first new character they meet is Federica Lamberti, a strong-minded and persistent woman who wears a pendant that looks similar to a giant gate Ryza encountered when the mysterious islands first appeared. Federica is from the crafting city of Sardonica where she is the deputy union head of the craftsman union. Currently, the glasswork faction and Fairystones faction are at odds with each other and Federica is caught in the middle as deputy union head, attempting to mediate the feud. To reconcile the opposing factions, she decides to travel around the regions with Ryza and her friends.

As the quest continues into the remote village of Faurre, Ryza meets a boy named Dian Farrell who is part of a militia group known as “Gleaner”. A “Gleaner” is a term for warriors who collect “Seeds of Light”, the power source for the tools used in the village. “Seeds of Light” are scattered throughout the ruins, and collecting them means digging up legacies of the past. Dian is disgusted with “Gleaner” and their ways of digging up the ruins of other people’s past, so the boy-turned-hunter sets off for a new life by joining Ryza on her journey.

Also joining the adventure is Ryza’s childhood friend Bos. The heir to the Brunnen family, Bos has grown into a dignified figure. Until now, he hasn’t had the chance to go on the adventures with everyone, but it seems he has been covertly training “for the day we can go on an adventure together.” He used to have a strained relationship with Ryza and others due to a slight misunderstanding, but now they have reconciled, even if his badmouthing towards Ryza and the others persists. It was his secret wish to go on an adventure with his childhood friends, and there has never been a more important mission for him to take part!

But all characters are not as they first appear, especially when it comes to half-animal, half-human Kala Ideas. Kala appears to be a little girl, but in fact, she’s a great elder who is over a thousand years old. She is a legend among the Oren clan and not only seems to know something about the mysterious gate that Ryza discovered, but also the “Code of the Universe”.

KOEI TECMO Europe revealed previously that it will be releasing two delightful special edition versions of Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key – a Premium Box and a Special Collection Box, available exclusively through the KOEI TECMO Europe Online Store. Warner Bros. Games today announced that Stripe, the main antagonist from the Gremlins franchise, is now available as the latest playable character in MultiVersus, the free-to-play platform fighter developed by Player First Games. The mohawk wearing Gremlin leader arrives as part of MultiVersus Season 1 and is an Assassin class character with a moveset that highlights his unruly and rambunctious nature. Stripe’s abilities are as featured in a newly revealed gameplay trailer showing off his claw attacks, as well as a range of weapons that can be used to strike fear in challengers, including a buzzsaw, chainsaw, dynamite and even a skateboard. He also can attach himself to opponents for a brief period of time to avoiding hits and cause damage of his own. The Combat Stripe character variant is available now for in-game purchase. 

Additionally, the MultiVersus Halloween 2022 Update is available now and includes the Monster Mash in-game event, allowing players to participate in matches and earn “candy” in exchange for rewards, including the Jake the Dog Cake character variant, Reindog Mummy character variant, Pumpkin Patch profile icon and Jack-o-Lanterns sticker emote.

Starting tomorrow, hunt Monsters or hide from the Hunters in a spooky limited-time event

Sydney, Australia – October 13, 2022 – Today, Ubisoftannounced that Rainbow Six Siege’s frightful fan-favourite event, Doktor’s Curse, returns from October 13 until November 2. Doktor’s Curse: The Returned  brings back the beloved Hide and Seek game mode in the spooky Doktor’s Castle map where Doc’s dreadful horrors roam.

In this version of the 5v5 Hide and Seek game mode, new monstrous characters join the event, including Oryx on the Hunters (Attackers) and Azami, Nomad, Thorn, and Gridlock on the Monsters (Defenders). Monsters must hide to survive the night from the Attacking Hunters. The Hunters will only have Breaching Hammers as weapons and one tracking gadget, each attached to a unique operator skin. Their goal will be to find the Monsters and take them out of the Castle. On the other side, the defending Monsters have no weapons but can use traps and a unique ability created for this mode: Nightstride, which lets them become momentarily invisible and run faster to escape and hide.

The Doktor’s Curse Collection, including bundles for Smoke, Kapkan, Frost, Lesion, Doc, Bandit, Sledge, Lion, Jackal, Aruni and Ela, is back, with the addition of new bundles for Oryx, Azami, Nomad, Thorn, and Gridlock. In addition, there will be additional bundles for Pulse (Chiroptera Bundle), Kaid (Bloodthirst Bundle), and Melusi (Haunting Bundle), as well as three themed ones: Wicked Surgery Bundle, Incorporeal Bundle, and the Flayed Pain Bundle. Bundles are available for 300 R6 Credits each or with 12500 Renown. Each player logging in from tomorrow until November 2 will get a Doktor’s Curse pack for free and can get three other packs by completing weekly Ubisoft Connect Challenges. In addition, if a player already purchased any complete bundle from a previous Doktor’s Curse Episode, the corresponding Operator’s Card is granted for free.

Barstool Sports, Dude Perfect, and 100 Thieves to Bring Lifestyle Flair to PGA TOUR® 2K23

In-game merchandise and personalities coming soon from the popular lifestyle brands

PGA TOUR 2K23 tees up a rollout of post-launch bonus content with collaborations across video game culture, entertainment, and sports lifestyle media. Tapping into the massive appeal and audiences of Barstool Sports, Dude Perfect, and 100 Thieves, 2K will keep the fairway fresh with apparel drops and playable personalities from each brand in the coming months. All bonus content will be free for all players across all platforms.

Starting late October, the PGA TOUR 2K23 community will be able to deck their MyPLAYERs out in apparel from Dude Perfect, the comedy and sports entertainment team with over 58 million subscribers on YouTube. In addition to Dude Perfect-branded hats, a polo and a hoodie available as in-game MyPLAYER apparel, The Dudes will battle it out in an upcoming video, featuring PGA TOUR pro Collin Morikawa, to determine who will be integrated in-game as a post-launch playable character later next year. Known for their awe-inspiring trick shots, the Dude Perfect team will be sure to encourage creativity across the virtual links.

In-game apparel from the premium lifestyle brand and gaming organization 100 Thieves will also be available this Fall. Following the apparel drop, 100 Thieves Founder & CEO Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, will make his debut in PGA TOUR 2K23 as a playable character. An avid golfer and PGA TOUR 2K player, Nadeshot previously made his mark on the franchise with a Course Designer collaboration called ‘Thieves Landing’.

Finally, the largest and most influential digital sports, entertainment and lifestyle multimedia brand Barstool Sports will make its debut on the virtual course in early 2023, when branded merchandise and playable personalities from Barstool’s popular golf podcast, Fore Play, will be featured in PGA TOUR 2K23. With their active following of millions of golf fanatics, Barstool Sports have already built strong connections with the PGA TOUR 2K community, and have hosted online tournaments with the PGA TOUR 2K21 Barstool Golf Society*.
