Time to answer the age-old question: what’s better, cats or dogs? Warpaws invites us to find out in all-out war through the lens of classic, cartoon-inspired art with slapstick. Command canine corps or feline forces and utilize superior planning and strategic abilities to capture key control points from enemy units to dominate the map.

Unleash strategic carnage with 16 different units in five battle-torn biomes. Deploy spies for stealthy showdowns, send bazooka-wielding soldiers to dominate skirmishes on sand dunes, or assemble a mix of gunners, engineers, and fiery pyros suited for any engagement. Each unit stands on its own; instead of replacing them with direct upgrades, all characters have their own specialties.

Battle through a single-player campaign or compete against other players in a variety of multiplayer modes. Call upon a trusted ally and take down AI forces in a co-op mode, duke it out in online versus mode matches, or become the King of the Hill champion. Master each map — Desert, Polar, Lava, City, Islands — and take advantage of terrain. Destroy frozen lakes to drown platoons, lead opponents into snowstorms, or even trick them into swimming with sharks.

Uncover untold horrors executed by an insidious cult as a disgraced detective determined to close a case. Live Event Featured Exclusive Appearance From Rabbit & Bear Studio

Tokyo, Japan – September 16, 2022 – Leading video game publisher 505 Games celebrates the conclusion of this year’s Tokyo Game Show, having showcased its largest product line-up ever at the ‘Route 505’ press event and online showcase, a testament to 505’s on-going support for the Japan and Asia markets.

The publisher shared content from a wide variety of upcoming titles, including a new gameplay trailer from the highly anticipated JRPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Hertfordshire, 16^th September 2022 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Team NINJA released the demo to their latest masocore epic, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The demo is available from Friday 16^th September at 11:00am UTC until Monday 26^th September at 06:59am UTC on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation®5. 

The action-packed demo features a glimpse inside a dark Three Kingdoms world gone mad and the chaotic struggle to save a once beloved land now infested by demons. Featuring swordplay ripped from the Chinese martial arts, the demo showcases the strategies and swiftness of battle, while also giving gamers a taste of online multiplayer, the character creator, and in-game abilities including vertical exploration and the importance of morale. As a bonus, anyone who clears the demo will earn the special item “Crouching Dragon Helmet”, which can be equipped and used in the main game upon release. A survey will also be made available via the demo in order to collect player feedback and help in the further development of the game. Those who participate in the survey will receive an original wallpaper.

In addition, Team NINJA has created a tutorial video to help gamers get started with the finer points of the masocore experience, including techniques needed to learn everything from basic counter attacks to wielding a variety of weapons.

In the game campaign, play solo or co-op locally as special agents tasked to fight a criminal organisation. In addition to drug and weapon trafficking, the organisation lead by the mysterious General Viper seems to have developed a weapon of mass destruction! Following the discovery of several of the group bases, the agents are sent on location to dismantle the consortium, eliminate the weapons and free the hostages from various prisoner camps.

Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission will be released fall 2022 both digitally and in retail with a Day One Edition for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 & Nintendo Switch and digitally only on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC

The VR version of the game for Meta Quest 2 will launch in 2023.

The co-op action FPS continues to be supported with world-expanding content 

Sydney, Australia – September 16, 2022 – Vertigo Games, the VR specialist publishing and development arm of PLAION, have today launched the world-expanding content update ‘Reclamation’ for their VR action FPS After the Fall. Critically acclaimed for its cutting-edge multiplayer co-op action, After the Fall continues to grow its player base since launch in December 2021, with over 55K monthly active players as of late. The Reclamation update brings two new maps for worldbuilding, expanded arsenal and modes, new enemies, and several gameplay updates. It’s now available for free to all owners of the game on Meta Quest 2, PSVR, PC VR, Pico and iQIYI. Vertigo Games released an action-packed trailer to showcase the new content. 

The ‘Reclamation’ update has players take back the Snowbreed-infested LA in ‘Downtown’, a new Harvest map, and ‘The Mall’, the largest Horde Mode map to date. With two new enemies and a unique final encounter in ‘Downtown’ that has players fight off sprawl to survive, they need all the armoury they can get. The weapon arsenal has been expanded with the fast-firing ‘Auto-Shotgun’ and the experimental combat device ‘Sawblade’, which shoots bouncing blades that deal insanely high damage. The new enemies spotted roaming through LA are The Gunner, who has an LMG permanently rooted to his arm, and The Charger, a Snowbreed that rushes towards players before doing explosive amounts of damage in a large radius. The ‘Reclamation’ update also adds 17 unique skins to players, as well as multiple Quality of Life updates. Moving forward, Vertigo Games plans to keep expanding and further improving the world of After the Fall for all its players. 

With intense 4-player co-op and crossplay at its core, After the Fall offers action-packed co-op gameplay, built from the ground up for VR.  Starting out in a shared space with up to 32 other players across all platforms, players venture out into the remains of post-apocalyptic LA in squads of four, wielding weapons with real-life movements. To stay ahead of their enemies, players scavenge the undead-infested VR world, with new discoveries lurking around every corner. When they’re ready, the competitive Tundradome PvP arena and endless hordes in Horde mode awaits them.
