Your performance impacts your Kingdom’s standing with that Ruler. Bring home loot, new recruits, or even start and end wars during your travels!
  • Stone Castle Construction: Builders have invented stone cutting tables – giving the crafters  new materials to build castles. Don’t forget to style your castle with new decorative add-ons including spires, supports, arches and even a portcullis.

  • Tactical Improvements: Your Mortals have finally figured out the power of the catapult –  use them on adventures or to add that finishing touch to your castle’s defense system. The cheval has also been improved to grant 50% move speed reduction for any character that comes into contact with one. Hard to reach places? Leverage the power of the grappling hook in third person to extend your reach!

Inspired by the depth and fun of Rimworld and the brutal clash of ambition, intrigue, and violence from Game of Thrones, Noble Fates charges players with building a kingdom worthy of lasting recognition. Build, craft, farm, mine, hunt, defend – even command from the sky, or take control in third person. Your story goes where the people, your actions, and their reactions take it.

Private Division Marks 5th Anniversary by Announcing Publishing Partnership with Bloober Team and Unveiling the Private Division Development Fund

Private Division Marks 5th Anniversary by Announcing Publishing Partnership with Bloober Team and Unveiling the Private Division Development Fund

Label expands upcoming portfolio with another exciting partnership; unveils new funding options for smaller scale projects with the Private Division Development Fund

Private Division, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), today celebrated its 5th anniversary of the label by revealing a publishing agreement with Bloober Team. The independent Polish developer is best known for creating psychological horror games and is working on an upcoming unannounced new survival horror IP in partnership with Private Division. Additionally, the label unveiled the Private Division Development Fund to support smaller independent development teams with project financing and mentorship opportunities to enable them to self-publish their ambitious titles. Private Division is also marking their 5th anniversary by releasing a video highlighting its internal studios and developers they have recently partnered with for upcoming releases.

“Whether we’re partnering with established developers like Bloober Team, or smaller independent studios embarking on new projects, we strive to work with teams who are among the absolute best at their craft and support them in their bold and creative ambitions,” said Michael Worosz, Chief Strategy Officer, Take-Two Interactive, and Head of Private Division. “It’s exciting to grow our portfolio into a new genre by adding one of Europe’s most successful independent teams to our talented roster of development partners.”

Bloober Team, well-known for creating horror games such as the Layers of Fear franchise, The Medium, Observer, and more, are developing a new survival-horror game to be published by Private Division. The title is in early development and does not yet have an announced release date. It is not expected to launch before calendar 2025. Private Division and Bloober Team look forward to sharing more details about this game in the future.

“Our next project is an exciting new survival-horror game, which will help us become a leader in the horror industry at large,” said Piotr Babieno, Chief Executive Officer of Bloober Team. “I am grateful for this cooperation with Private Division. Their expertise is extensive, and their people are also very approachable. We don’t perceive them in a typical ‘publisher-developer’ relationship; they’re more like a friend who shows us support or keeps us in line when we need it most.”

Alongside the publishing agreement with Bloober Team, Private Division has also announced the Private Division Development Fund. This fund provides a new vehicle to support projects from smaller developers with project financing and to empower these teams to self-publish their games. The label has committed to supporting several developers in bringing their creative visions to life under the Private Division Development Fund, including Die Gute Fabrik, Radical Forge, and Lost Native.

“Since we announced Private Division five years ago, we’ve seen a number of promising game ideas from smaller teams that didn’t quite fit with our full-fledged publishing model,” said Blake Rochkind, Head of Business Development at Private Division. “We knew we could not simply have a one-size-fits-all approach in today’s world. We never like to say ‘no’ to an incredible game concept due to the size of the project, and the Private Division Development Fund enables us to identify and support some of the best creative ideas our industry has to offer.”

Today marks the 5th anniversary of Private Division’s announcement as a new publishing label within Take-Two, and to commemorate the occasion the team has released a Private Division Label Update Video. Showcasing the talent, passion, and creativity that makes Private Division and the teams they partner with stand out, this video features the Label’s publishing team, internal studios, and recently signed developers that will drive the Private Division forward in the years to come.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Panel From Hell Update: Paladin’s Hidden Oathbreaker Subclass Allows Players to Explore Choice & Consequence

Patch 9 arrives today for Baldur’s Gate 3 on Steam Early Access

DUBLIN Dec. 14, 2022 – Today Larian Studios hosted a festive livestream called Panel From Hell: Holy Knight. Featuring The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley, the stream brought tidings of highly anticipated content for Baldur’s Gate 3. This update follows Larian’s trailer at last week’s The Game Awards, which revealed that the game will officially launch in August 2023.

Available in-game today, Patch 9 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is, in essence, a response to the player community’s feedback throughout early access – including the Paladin class, a reworked Reactions system, and the ability to progress to Level 5.

Paladins vary in their specific missions and ideals, but all Paladins have sworn an Oath to stand with goodness against the encroaching evils of the world. Whether they’ve sworn an Oath of Devotion, an Oath of the Ancients, or an Oath of another kind, their ultimate goal is to uphold justice and righteousness above all else.

But what happens to a Paladin who forsakes that sacred promise? Can there be redemption? A hidden Paladin subclass, Oathbreaker, gives players the opportunity to explore this path. Will they seek a return to grace, or will they find that their Oath was worth breaking after all?

D&D players will recognize Level 5 as a significant power boost for all classes – a moment where your party is finally able to take on formidable, previously insurmountable challenges. Spellcasters do especially well at Level 5, gaining access to 3rd-level spells like Fireball, Counterspell and Animate Dead – play your cards right and you may just raise your very own zombie army.

Here are a few of the highlights from Patch 9:

  • New Class: Paladin
    • Bursting with noble spirit and ardent reverence, the Paladin class is marked by the ability to unleash devastating combos in combat while providing aid and protection to their party when necessary.
    • Two Subclasses:
      • Oath of Devotion
        • Following the ideal of the knight in shining armor, these Paladins act with honor and virtue to protect the weak and pursue the greater good.
        • Holy Rebuke: Call upon your Oath to grant an ally a vengeful aura that deals 1d4 Radiant damage to anyone who hits them with a melee attack.
      • Oath of the Ancients
        • Paladins who walk this path fight on the side of light in the eternal struggle against darkness, vowing to preserve the sanctity of life and the beauty of nature.
        • Healing Radiance: Call upon your Oath to let nature heal all nearby allies.
    • Divine Smite: When using a melee attack, you may choose to spend a spell slot to deal radiant damage to your target in addition to your weapon damage.
    • Hidden Subclass: Oathbreaker
      • Paladins who stray from their sacred oaths become Oathbreakers, which comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages.
      • Embrace your newfound powers for good or ill, or start down the path of redemption.
  • Level 5
    • Players can now progress to Level 5. This makes for a significant power boost for all classes, opening up 3rd-level spells like Fireball to those with spellcasting abilities.
  • Revamped Reactions System
    • Reactions are a unique type of combat action that can be triggered by various combat circumstances – for example, an enemy in melee range running away can trigger an Attack of Opportunity.
    • Players can now choose whether or not to use a Reaction when one is triggered, allowing for more strategic combat!
  • Flying
    • The ‘Fly’ spell can be used in and out of combat to do just that – fly. Spread your wings and fly to otherwise out-of-reach treasure, or out of reach of enemies.

Along with major additions to the content of the game, Larian announced during the Panel From Hell that the critical role of Minsc in Baldur’s Gate 3 will be played by voice actor and DM Matt Mercer.

Get all of the details on these features and the rest of the patch notes in our Community Update, available here. Further information is available at panelfromhell.baldursgate3.game

About Hunt: Showdown

Hunt: Showdown is a competitive first-person bounty hunting game that packs the thrill of survival games into a match-based format. Set in Louisiana in 1895, the game boasts a mixture of PvP and PvE elements that creates a uniquely tense experience. It’s not just the creatures who are a threat—it’s every Hunter on the map. In the classic game mode, a match of Hunt pits 12 players—playing solo or in teams of two or three —against each other as they race to take out gruesome beasts for a bounty they must collect and get off of the map, while Hunt‘s quickplay mode offers a shorter match for solo players to scavenge for weapons as they compete for a diminishing pool of bounty. The higher the risk, the higher the reward–but a single mistake could cost everything. Hunt is available now on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more information, visit www.huntshowdown.com.

MARAUDERS’ ‘RED BARON’ UPDATE DEPLOYS TODAY ON STEAM

Keep an eye on the skies for the ace pilot  and get ready to breach with a brand-new animated launch trailer

Wednesday, 14th December 2022 – Team17 and Small Impact Games have announced that ‘Red Baron’, the debut and free content update for hardcore looter shooter Marauders, will be available today from 5pm GMT on Steam.

Marking the game’s first major content update since its Steam Early Access launch in October, Marauders’ ‘Red Baron’ update sees players take on the game’s first boss: the titular and legendary pilot. A dogfighting ace from the game’s Central Empire faction and an expert in both close-quarters battles and space flight combat, the Red Baron is a formidable foe who will test the skills of space pirates from across the galaxy.

To celebrate the arrival of the Red Baron update, Team17 and Small Impact Games have released a brand-new animated launch trailer, giving players a glimpse at the in-world mythology and mysterious origins of the lethal wingman:

Marauders takes place in an alternative 1990s where The Great War never ended, Earth has been industrialised to its breaking point, and most have fled to the stars. Band together with a crew of up to three other players to navigate a hostile battleground, hunt for loot, craft new weapons and gear, and salvage what’s needed to survive.

Marauders Key Features

  • Immersive sci-fi setting: Discover a gritty dieselpunk world where Earth is on the brink of collapse and survival relies on looting and shooting among the stars
  • Raid, loot, escape: Plunder deep-space battlegrounds and embark on daring raids for troves of valuable loot, then get out alive to claim your spoils and turn a healthy profit
  • Tense first-person combat: Work alone or with up to three other players to survive intense combat encounters with realistic bullet simulation against enemy teams and AI opponents
  • Persistent gear and XP: Keep your best gear match-to-match and tweak your favourite weapons with mods while using XP to unlock new items and increase your chances of survival
  • Upgradeable spaceships and explosive sci-fi dogfights: Upgrade your ship’s armaments; build a brand-new craft with scavenged resources; or take someone else’s by force
