London (November 16, 2022) During today’s Monster Hunter™ Rise: SunbreakDigital Event, the valiant knight Dame Fiorayne announced that Free Title Update 3 arrives on Nov. 24, 2022 for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, the latestmonster hunting expansion that has sold more than four million copies. This update features three new challenging foes for hunters to overcome; even more options for customizing the appearance and performance of weapons and armor; plus changes for Anomaly Investigations, Anomaly Quests, and the Follower system.

Attention Hunters! Kingdom scouts have observed three new threats prowling the areas surrounding Elgado Outpost: Chaotic Gore Magala, Risen Teostra, and Risen Kushala Daora. Gore Magala repeatedly shed their skin until they eventually mature into Shagaru Magala, however sometimes a defect can occur during the molting process. This deformation traps the Gore Magala halfway between its adolescent and mature state, creating the Chaotic Gore Magala variant. Their dual nature allows these incredibly powerful creatures to use the attacks of both Gore and Shagaru Magala, however their stunted growth also causes them intense agony. Hunters above MR10 able to quell the chaos will be rewarded with materials for new weapons and armor boasting unique skills.

Despite the utmost efforts of both Kamura and the Kingdom, the affliction continues to claim new hosts. Sightings of Risen Teostra and Kushala Daora require an immediate response from the coalition’s most skilled hunters. While both monsters are already seen as forces of nature, their Risen forms have the capacity for even more widespread destruction. Beware their angered state, as there is no telling what devastating attacks they will unleash. Hunters must first achieve the rank of MR120 prior to facing off against Risen Kushala Daora and MR140 for Risen Teostra, but the reward for braving the elements is access to materials capable of crafting weapons and armor with new skills.

Hunters looking for even more ways to sharpen their skills will be able to tackle the new A7★ Anomaly Quests, featuring Flaming Espinas, Scorned Magnamalo, and Seething Bazelgeuse. Additionally, the Anomaly Investigation system will raise the level cap to 200, with the added ability to lower the level of individual quests hunters already possess. Materials from Anomaly Investigations can also be used for new augment categories for both weapons and armor. With the ability to pick from “Defense” or “Skills” for armor augments, there are even more opportunities for hunters to build their ideal armor set.

Hunters who have grown attached to the villagers and knights of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak can now bring their Followers with them on almost every Master Rank quest, including Anomaly Quests and Investigations. Be sure to complete all of the available Follower Quests so you can spend more time with your favorite companions no matter the challenge. Title Update 3 also includes a variety of new paid DLC, including new gestures, stickers, music, player voices, and the “Hinoa” layered armor set. Fashion hunters who fancy cuddly creatures as much as Dame Fiorayne will also be able to purchase either individual weapons or the full collection of the plush “Stuffed Monster Series,” alongside an expanded list of other unlockable layered weapon options.

New Event Quests will continue to reward players with new equipment, stickers, poses, and other fun items, in addition to the new “Kagami” character voice being released as a Free DLC. This energetic Dual Blades user leads the Royal Secret Service in the Kingdom, and is a close friend to Master Utsushi. $5 USD Bounty Challenge Aboard
World of Warships will be giving away $5 USD Steam Wallet credit to new World of Warships players! To unlock this credit, players will need to earn the “Warrior” achievement in-game between November 18 and December 17, which requires winning 50 random battles to unlock this achievement in the game client. Following the conclusion of the bounty challenge on December 17, players who have successfully unlocked the Warrior achievement will see the Steam Wallet credit added to their account within one week.

DLC, all for free!
Warships has two free DLC packs up for grabs valued at $30 USD, with the Dreadnought Starter Pack and the new Steam Anniversary Party Kit. Perfect for new players, the Dreadnought Starter Pack is packed with two Tier III Premium ships, one battleship and one cruiser, as well as three days of a Warships Premium Account, two Port slots, seven Steam camouflages and a boatload of economic bonuses.

The Steam Anniversary Party Kit features a Steam container, five Steam camouflages, a special “Piece of Cake” patch, and access to a special mission that allows players to earn the Steam flag and 5 additional Steam camouflages.

Complete the Camouflage Marathon
The winning design from the June Steam-themed battleship camouflage competition was selected and will be available through a special mission marathon! Created by Jav9th for the battleship King George V, the design can be unlocked alongside several other camouflages, credits, economic bonuses, and a Super Container across the marathon’s seven stages. Missions can be completed through a diverse range of methods including Brawl, Operations and Ranked, with ships and Superships ranging from Tier V-X.

Full steam ahead for the Steam patch mission chain
With all of this, Warships still has a few extra treats to celebrate five years on Steam! Players can also unlock another Steam container and several camouflages through a three-part mission chain before accessing a special Steam Patch and background cosmetics as the final reward.

Feel the thrill of the hunt!
In addition to the Steam anniversary, World of Warships is announcing another first — The World of Warships Treasure Hunt. This exclusive new event for Captains in the United States and Canada begins November 15 and offers an incredible pool of physical prizes as well as in-game gifts. The Treasure Hunt takes place in two parts:

• The Hunt. For a full four weeks, players complete daily and weekly tasks to earn Treasure Tokens. These can be exchanged at any time for random rewards from a valuable prize pool.
• The Supergame. After the Hunt ends, we’ll host a massive random giveaway on Twitch where participants with at least 6 Treasure Tokens will have a shot at winning amazing physical gear.

Title Now Available On Steam

Sydney, Australia – November 16: Vile Monarch and Ravenscourt are rather pleased to announce that after a lot of hard work, late nights, early mornings, more than a few challenges and an argument on whether Poland or Britain makes the best fruit cakes,  Floodland – the post-catastrophic survival city builder – is now available for purchase on Steam for $44.95 AUD.

If you’ve not come across Floodland before then you’re in for a real treat.

Runaway climate change means the Earth is now ice free – and catastrophic sea level rise has inundated the land, with coastal cities lost to the oceans and the ones inland now a swampy morass of rusting cars and decaying buildings.

It’s in one of these drowned cities that you arrive with your small group of nomads. Your task: rebuilding society from the ground-up.

You do this by exploring the ruins and scouring it for resources, relearning basic agriculture and fishing skills and turning a group of stragglers – living in tents in a swamp – into a thriving town.

After that, you’ll need to establish new buildings (or upgrade existing ones) and researching ‘new’ (or relearning old tech) enabling you to overcome the numerous challenges you face.

But people will be people and the larger your settlement grows – and the more habitants it will have – the higher the chance societal issues will arise, meaning you may well face the same problems the old world had.

The question is, how will you manage your clans; will you unite the remnants of humanity or will you choose division and isolation? Either way, you will shape the society of tomorrow.

Vile Monarch was founded in 2015 by Kacper Kwiatkowski and Grzegorz Mazur, both of whom worked on ‘This War of Mine’ – before starting a studio that created titles such Weedcraft Inc, Oh…Sir! and Growing Up, securing a number of awards. 

Other members of the team include Konrad Czernik – who worked on Dying Light 2 and was the art director of Shadow Warrior 3; Kuba Pałyska – one of the designers on Hard West and composer Piotr Musiał whose credits include Frostpunk, The Witcher 3: Blood And Wine, This War of Mine and many more.

The studio is now 80 persons strong, working on 3 different titles, and continues to expand, with teams working in both Warsaw and  Wrocław.
