Title Now Available On Steam

Sydney, Australia – November 16: Vile Monarch and Ravenscourt are rather pleased to announce that after a lot of hard work, late nights, early mornings, more than a few challenges and an argument on whether Poland or Britain makes the best fruit cakes,  Floodland – the post-catastrophic survival city builder – is now available for purchase on Steam for $44.95 AUD.

If you’ve not come across Floodland before then you’re in for a real treat.

Runaway climate change means the Earth is now ice free – and catastrophic sea level rise has inundated the land, with coastal cities lost to the oceans and the ones inland now a swampy morass of rusting cars and decaying buildings.

It’s in one of these drowned cities that you arrive with your small group of nomads. Your task: rebuilding society from the ground-up.

You do this by exploring the ruins and scouring it for resources, relearning basic agriculture and fishing skills and turning a group of stragglers – living in tents in a swamp – into a thriving town.

After that, you’ll need to establish new buildings (or upgrade existing ones) and researching ‘new’ (or relearning old tech) enabling you to overcome the numerous challenges you face.

But people will be people and the larger your settlement grows – and the more habitants it will have – the higher the chance societal issues will arise, meaning you may well face the same problems the old world had.

The question is, how will you manage your clans; will you unite the remnants of humanity or will you choose division and isolation? Either way, you will shape the society of tomorrow.

Vile Monarch was founded in 2015 by Kacper Kwiatkowski and Grzegorz Mazur, both of whom worked on ‘This War of Mine’ – before starting a studio that created titles such Weedcraft Inc, Oh…Sir! and Growing Up, securing a number of awards. 

Other members of the team include Konrad Czernik – who worked on Dying Light 2 and was the art director of Shadow Warrior 3; Kuba Pałyska – one of the designers on Hard West and composer Piotr Musiał whose credits include Frostpunk, The Witcher 3: Blood And Wine, This War of Mine and many more.

2K and Marvel Entertainment debuted the third Prequel Short for Marvel’s Midnight Suns today via the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel. “Hell On Wheels” features Robbie Reyes, a young mechanic who is possessed by a Spirit of Vengeance – making him the Ghost Rider!

Q: Why not create a second season of New Frontier Pass? Isn’t the scope of Leader Pass smaller than that of New Frontier Pass?

A: New Frontier Pass added new game modes and elements to what was already the biggest Civilization game in history. We feel really good about the quality and quantity of the gameplay systems in Civilization VI, and are excited to surprise fans with how many of these new leader abilities play out in the game.

Q: Will this be the final DLC for Civilization VI?

A: For now, we’re just looking forward to delivering the 18 new Leader Selections coming with Leader Pass over the next few months.

MultiVersus Season 2 Begins Today; Looney Tunes’ Marvin the Martian Announced as Upcoming Playable Character, Alongside New Game of Thrones Themed Map

Warner Bros. Games have announced the start of Season 2 for MultiVersus, the free-to-play platform fighter developed by Player First Games. Season 2 will feature the addition of Marvin the Martian as an upcoming playable character. Hailing from the planet Mars, the well-mannered Looney Tunes villain will be equipped with his Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator explosive device, powerful blaster and spaceship summoning abilities. The new season will also include an upcoming Game of Thrones map that will allow players to hurl opponents away from the Iron Throne, along with Westeros based hazards and a remix of the iconic theme music. Release dates for Marvin the Martian and the Game of Thrones map will be announced at a later date.

Shirakumo Games Announces Action RPG Kandria Hitting Steam on January 11th

You are an android, awakened in a ruined future where a vast open world lies accessible to you right from the start, totaling more than 2.5 million square meters in size. However, ambition and danger go hand-in-hand as you platform and parkour your way through 250 hand-crafted rooms filled with challenging platforming. As you explore vast caverns and ancient ruins, hack and slash your way through myriad enemies, including feral animals, rogue robots, and antagonistic humans who are on the prowl in this hostile world.

Discover new settlements filled with people trying to eke out an existence in the world and offer them hope and assistance by completing 50 different quests that help shed light on the mysteries of the world around you. Or…don’t! The world of Kandria is built for both intrepid and adventurous explorers and those simply wanting to lead a quiet life in this strange world. Take up a bit of fishing, for example, and enjoy a relaxing break from the dangers of exploration. You never know, you just might catch something rare and valuable.

Inspired by Celeste and other precision platformers, Kandria began its life as a testing ground for an in-house engine in late 2019. As more features were added, it developed into its own world, complete with characters, backstory and plot.
