The oppressive onslaught brings two characters to Steam Early Access
El Dorado Hills, CA. – May 3, 2023 –Soul Survivors, the dark fantasy time-survival roguelite from developer and publisher Stingbot Games, is now available on Steam Early Access for PC and Deck Verified.
Face mobs of monstrous foes in a skill-based showdown combining dynamic classes, meta-game progression, and challenging yet fair combat. Cut through flesh constructs, ashen skeletons, money-laden mollusks, and more in a finely tuned experience drawing inspiration from time-survival games, Soulslikes, and highly replayable roguelikes punctuated by harrowing boss encounters.
The Early Access version of Soul Survivors launches with two playable characters, with six total planned throughout development, each providing wildly different combat experiences. Stand as the stalwart Bogatyr, an armored knight with access to earth-shattering hammers and an empowering horn, or command undead legions as the Necromancer while controlling the arc of the dark sorcerer’s spiked flail.
Transform class-specific automated attacks with powerups and modifiers that alter the flow of combat, like the Bogatyr’s fearsome Butcher’s Blade’s shattering AOE effects. Spend gold to upgrade talents and unlock persistent upgrades like the Necromancer’s Soul Reaver, a skill granting pets the power to collect souls. Experiment with builds catering to all manner of playstyles that allow each hero to turn into an unstoppable force on the battlefield.
Fight to stay alive in stages inhabited by countless foes. Make micro-decisions during the din of combat and prepare for showdowns against bosses that arrive at timed intervals. Face the Flesh Golem in the forlorn Linden Forest and take a crack at the hulking skeleton Chancellor Autlaic deep below a fallen castle. But be wary, besting these beasts doesn’t grant victory; defeating a stage’s final boss throws heroes into Cursed Mode, ramping the carnage to near-impossible levels.
Soul Survivors builds upon the familiar framework established by popular time-survival games and adds a robust combat system familiar to action-RPG fans to create a rewarding experience that encourages mastery and experimentation. With frequent updates planned throughout Early Access, survivors will have new characters, stages, and challenges to face on the road to the 1.0 release.

Experiment with different duos, pursue alternate builds for your fighters through upgrades, and change the order in which they challenge the city’s sinister gang leaders.
Should a session end in defeat, players can convert any remaining cash into tokens usable to permanently unlock extra characters and bonuses in-between sessions, making every battle serve a purpose. But buying a Continue with that token to instead extend a promising round of gang-slugging action is worth considering, too…

2K today announced a long-awaited new feature, PvP Challenges, within NBA® 2K Mobile, one of 2K’s flagship mobile titles with more than 41 million downloads. Available to all players today, PvP Challenges bring the heat to NBA 2K Mobile, allowing players to directly challenge their friends and family to battle it out head-to-head on the court. After beta testing PvP Challenges and listening to community feedback, NBA 2K Mobile has integrated a number of updates for players to enjoy. The updates include upgraded visuals, UI/UX improvements, smoother connections for players to find and challenge opponents and behind-the-scenes updates that will make matchmaking more stable.
The new hub for PvP Challenges can be found within the game’s Chat section. Challenges can be sent by going to player profiles. Unlike other modes in the game, there is no energy system – players can battle their friends all day and night! Today, 2K and Marvel Entertainment announced that Marvel’s Midnight Sunsis scheduled to launch next week on May 11, 2023 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in digital format only, with all four post-launch DLC available to purchase and play on that date. The Nintendo Switch version of Marvel’s Midnight Suns will no longer be offered as part of updated plans.
May 11 also marks the arrival of Marvel’s Midnight Suns‘ fourth and final post-launch DLC – Blood Storm* – featuring Storm! Available for either standalone purchase or as part of Marvel’s Midnight Suns Season Pass (included in the Legendary Edition), each DLC brings a new recruitable hero and adds three new story missions, a new upgrade for the Abbey, and a selection of new skins and outfits for the hero. Generally regarded as one of the most powerful mutants on the planet, Storm, real name Ororo Munroe, was orphaned at a young age and taken in by a village priestess while traveling to her mother’s home in Kenya.
