Set sail on PC and PlayStation Consoles on March 21

LONDON (Feb. 23, 2023) – Get your suitcases at the ready as publisher Kepler Interactive and developer Awaceb today revealed that the charming soul-jumping adventure, Tchia, will make its way to PC (via Epic Games Store) and PlayStation consoles on March 21. The game will also be available day one with PlayStation Plus Extra.  

Take a deep dive into Tchia’s heart-warming narrative with a brand-new story trailer revealed today that shines a spotlight on Tchia’s antagonist, Meavora:

When her father is abducted and her home is taken over by Meavora, the archipelago’s tyrannical ruler, Tchia, the game’s heroine, embarks on a grand adventure fueled by mystical wonder and disarmingly tender moments. As players traverse this fictional land inspired heavily by the island nation of New Caledonia, they’ll be introduced to a variety of new cultures, traditions and languages. Along the way, Tchia will unlock her own otherworldly abilities, letting her soul-jump into animals and objects found across her home in order to solve puzzles, traverse freely and avoid danger. Using this ability, her trusty slingshot and a magical ukulele, players will guide Tchia as she bravely frees her home from the clutches of this tyrannical god.

New gameplay trailer gives players first glimpse at General Ketheric Thorm, played by J.K. Simmons, alongside split-screen co-op and controller support

DUBLIN – Feb. 23, 2023 – At today’s State of Play Event held by Sony, Larian Studios announced via a new gameplay trailer that Baldur’s Gate 3 will ship on PlayStation 5, PC and Mac on Aug. 31, 2023.

Larian’s latest Baldur’s Gate 3 trailer gave players their first glimpse at one of the next-gen RPG’s as-yet-unseen antagonists, General Ketheric Thorm, a seemingly invincible necromancer leading an army of the dead towards the eponymous city of Baldur’s Gate – and voiced by none other than acclaimed character actor J.K. Simmons.

“Ketheric is a man with complex ambitions and motivations, so in searching for his voice, we knew we needed to work with a renowned character actor who could deliver the kind of nuanced performance we were looking for – so we decided to cast J.K. Simmons (Whiplash, Spider-Man). While we expected it, we were still amazed at how much his performance helped deepen the character. We’ll introduce you to two more antagonists over the coming months – keep an eye out,” explained Larian creative director Swen Vincke in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The latest Baldur’s Gate 3 trailer also includes several gameplay-related reveals:

An iconic hero returns…

Bordeaux, France (Feb. 23, 2023) – Motion Twin and Evil Empire revealed a secret today in a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC, the latest – and largest – DLC for Dead Cells to date. The new gameplay trailer takes fans on a tour of what to expect when the update hits PC and consoles next month on March 6, and introduces a very special guest via a unique mode that will be featured in the DLC. Available only in a secret level located somewhere deep in the unwavering dark of Dracula’s castle, players will be able to play Richter Mode, which lets them control the age-old Castlevania protagonist for a nostalgia trip that hits harder than the Vampire Killer. Use Richter’s classic moveset inspired by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and whip the undead out of shape. 

Today’s new trailer shows off this mode in action, complete with jumping whip attacks and other classic abilities taken straight from the Castlevania franchise. For bonus nostalgia points, players will even have to destroy candles and collect hearts, which are used as ammunition for some weapons. With a boss fight against Medusa and a bevy of enemies to slay, you’ll be glad you scoured every inch of Castle Dracula. 

Today’s trailer also included a more in-depth look at the ways players will be able to slay as The Beheaded throughout Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania. Showing off the Vampire Killer, Throwing Axe and more in action, the animated skeletons and living suits of armor shambling through the castle’s halls don’t stand a chance. Eagle-eyed players – as well as hardcore Castlevania fans – may also recognize some familiar set pieces throughout the expansion. Be sure not to leave an inch of the castle unexplored.

Whether you’re filling the shoes of Richter or using his and Alucard’s weapons as The Beheaded, Dracula and his old pal Death won’t know what’s coming to them when Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania launches on March 6 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
