BERLIN – March 15, 2023 – The Cycle: Frontier’s third season arrives March 29, but before then, Prospectors can take on the unique challenges of the new “Storm Divers” in-game event, beginning today on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Strange occurrences are taking place on Fortuna III, as the frequency of storms on Crescent Falls and Tharis Island have tripled. Desperate to uncover the cause of these events, the factions propose dropping Prospectors directly into the storm to investigate.

Players who opt-in to become Storm Divers will get specialized gear to help them survive the tempest, including a night vision helmet, storm-protecting armor, and helpful mods and consumables. Prospectors also have the chance to craft any factional weapon normally locked behind reputation requirements, including legendary weapons and most of the epic and exotic gear, thanks to alien meteor cores and fragments that can only be found on event maps. Both devices feature immersive Super AMOLED displays, measuring 6.4-inch⁵ on the Galaxy A54 5G and 6.6-inch⁶ on the Galaxy A34 5G. With the enhanced Vision Booster and a 120Hz refresh rate, the displays will keep up with users as they move between different lighting conditions.

Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G also guarantee up to four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates. These features allow users to access the latest software and security to maximise the smartphone lifecycle.

Stay Connected Without Compromising Security

Enhanced mobile experiences rely on advanced security. With Samsung Knox, data is kept under lock and key with defense-grade mobile security. The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G give users access to the Security and Privacy Dashboard, which makes it easy to see how apps are tracking data and enables simple ways to stop unwanted data collection. When users want to share important files that contain sensitive or personal information with a level of privacy and control, there’s Private Share⁷. This enables users to share files only to designated recipients within time limits and with screenshots disabled.

The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G are also compatible with the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem to provide seamless connectivity between devices. Users can get 100GB of cloud storage and easily back up photos to OneDrive with a six month trial of Microsoft 365 Basic⁸, accessible on the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G.

• The Galaxy A54 5G (RRP $699) will be available in two colour options, Awesome Graphite and Awesome Violet.
• The Galaxy A34 5G (RRP $599) will be available in two colour options, Awesome Lime and Awesome Graphite.
• The Galaxy A14 5G (RRP $379) will be available in Black.
• The Galaxy A14 (RRP $329) will be available in Black.

The new A Series devices will be available in Australia from March 31, 2023. Availability may vary by channel and/or carrier.

Launch offers

Customers who purchase the Galaxy A54 5G and/or Galaxy A34 5G from the Samsung Online Store or a Participating Retail Store during the initial launch period (31/03/2023 to 13/04/2023) will be eligible to claim a bonus Galaxy Watch4 Bluetooth (40mm) through redemption.
