MILESTONE AND DORNA ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF MotoGP 23

The franchise renews with Neural Aids, Turning Points, Dynamic Weather, Flag-to-Flag and… a social network!

Sydney, Australia, June 8, 2023 – Milestone and Dorna Sports S.L. are excited to announce the release of MotoGP™23. This latest instalment in the iconic franchise includes all the official riders, circuits*, and formats from the 2023 season across the MotoGP™, Moto2™, Moto3™, and MotoE™ categories. Starting today, fans can enjoy the game on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and Steam

TAKE CRUCIAL DECISIONS

MotoGP™23 includes a redesigned career mode, offering players a unique journey to become motorbike racing legends. The game introduces Turning Points that shape players’ careers based on their performance and choices. For example, successful results in the Moto3™ debut season could grant immediate access to the Moto2™ or MotoGP™ categories, thereby accelerating class progression. The game goes beyond mere race victories, by incorporating objectives that have an impact on bike development. This added depth to the gameplay will encourage players to engage in multiple seasons, enhancing the overall experience.

SOCIAL RIVALRIES: A NEW DIMENSION OF COMPETITION

MotoGP™23 introduces a social network, allowing interaction beyond the racetrack. This new feature allows players to forge alliances or instigate rivalries, with AI behaviour during races influenced by players’ actions on the social network. Maintaining a positive reputation is vital in MotoGP™23 as it not only affects the reactions of other riders but also influences the goals set by the team for the players. Be warned: each team has only two slots, and failure to meet these objectives may result in termination at the end of the season. Additionally, improvements have been made to AI behaviour, with each rider now possessing a unique personality and riding style that accurately reflects their real-life counterparts.

LEAD THE WAY

In MotoGP™23, the responsibility of motorcycle development falls on the lead rider of the team. Players must prove themselves worthy of this role and strive to move beyond being a second rider. Progression is achieved through Turning Points, which allow players to ascend within team hierarchies and contribute to the technical development during tests. This also applies to AI-controlled teams, whose bikes will evolve from their standard performances, leading to  potentially unexpected outcomes each season. As a result, the performances of rivals will change every year, requiring players to not only focus on their own bikes’ performance but also keep an eye on the performance of the other riders.

UNPREDICTABLE AND IMMERSIVE

MotoGP™23 introduces two ground-breaking features that aim to revolutionise players’ experiences and enhance the game’s realism: Dynamic Weather and Flag-to-Flag** races. The first one brings the unpredictability of real-world racing conditions into the franchise. A sunny and dry race can swiftly transform into a waterlogged battleground, challenging not only players’ racing skills but also their adaptability, as they navigate through shifting grip and visibility conditions. The second feature, Flag-to-Flag races, allows riders the option to return to the pit-lane and switch bikes in response to changing weather conditions. This rule is now incorporated into MotoGP™23, intensifying the level of realism and offering an engaging and immersive racing experience like never before.

LEARN TO RIDE WITH NEURAL AIDS

To meet newcomers’ needs, MotoGP™23 introduces new Neural Aids for brakes, acceleration, and handling. These aids are designed to offer an accessible yet challenging gaming experience, allowing players of all skill levels to feel the adrenaline rush of real MotoGP™ racing. In addition, the beloved MotoGP™ Academy makes its return to assist players whether they’re learning the basics or refining their techniques through specialised training sessions.

REVVING UP MULTIPLAYER ACTION

MotoGP™23 takes multiplayer gaming to new heights by offering a wide range of options designed to enhance interactivity and social engagement. One of the most exciting additions is cross-play***, enabling players to race against others regardless of their gaming platform. Additionally, MotoGP™23 introduces Ranked Races, a new feature designed to ensure a fair and competitive gaming experience by matching players with other with similar skill levels. This fosters a more competitive and thrilling race where everyone has a chance to shine. However, there is also room for local multiplayer experiences, as the beloved 2-player local split-screen** feature makes a return, allowing friends to share a screen and compete in a side-by-side, creating and exciting and immersive racing experience right in their living rooms.

LEAVING A MARK ON THE TRACK

MotoGP™23 will also offer various graphic editors to allow riders to customise their two-wheel experience. The helmet editor gives players the opportunity to add extravagant colours or maintain a sleek minimalist design to their avatars. With the sticker editor players can select from a wide range of designs and customise their bikes with unique decals.

The racing number editor gives players the freedom to add an additional layer of individuality, providing unique identifiers. Lastly, the butt patch editor allows players to design their own patches to be worn on their racing suits. These editors collectively offer players the ability to make their journey in MotoGP™23 even more unique and personalised.

SpiderHeck Weaves Summer Content Roadmap, Spinning Up This Month

Get the tea on the upcoming content, the devs’s long-legs-term plans

RIGA, LATVIA — June 7, 2023 — SpiderHeck, the non-stop co-op brawler from developer Neverjam and publisher tinyBuild, finds new ways for bugs to brutally battle in style thanks to tons of new content, special cosmetics, and achievements, as unveiled during the Guerilla Collective Showcase today.

In the first series of updates, take creativity to the next level with the new Versus Map Editor, coming to SpiderHeck this month! Craft battlegrounds matching preferred playstyles, from focused Final Destination-inspired arenas to creative, chaotic colosseums. Utilize a number of tools and options to create ultimate arenas to catch those hands – or in this case, seven tiny legs (remember, in SpiderHeck, the lil’ guys have six for movin’, and one for killin’).

Later this year, expect new level hazards: invincible enemies, lasers swinging from the ceiling, and dangerous platforms are just a few of the new dangers arachnids can expect across regular levels, Parkour Mode, and the Versus Map Editor.

This summer, also experience Limited Tiers of Heck: never-before-seen levels with opportunities to unlock a variety of brand new cosmetic items and rewards upon challenge completion. And because gatekeeping is never cool, the community can submit their own tiers for a chance to be added to the main game for everyone to survive play. The Scroll of Heck arrives in time to help gamers track cosmetics and unlocked requirements all in one place.

“As promised from the start, we will continue work on new content and updates for SpiderHeck for years to come,” said Uvis Zviedris, creator of SpiderHeck. “Next on the pipeline should be to finally drop an expanding crossplay – PC and Xbox and first, with PlayStation coming later – and dedicated servers for even more spider mayhem!”

SpiderHeck is available now for PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam for USD $14.99 / €.14.99. It offers English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese language support.

Nova Lands Explores New Territories on PC and Consoles June 22, 2023

June 7, 2023 | Publisher HypeTrain Digital and developer BEHEMUTT are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of their base building game Nova Lands, which will take place on June 22, 2023. The game will skip the originally planned Early Access phase and immediately launch in its full version on PC (Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, as announced at The Guerrilla Collective.

Nova Lands is a base building, exploration, and survival game with automation mechanics. Explore, engage in combat, and automate your industry. The planet you’re on is full of mysteries, creatures, people, and things to do. Welcome to your new home amongst the stars!

Your task is to extract resources needed for the Earth using your trusty extraction tool. Once you start gathering resources, you can construct factories that will provide you with new materials. The more possibilities you unlock, the more efficient your base will become.

But you’re not just a Survivor in Nova Lands; you’re also an Explorer. To help you with simple tasks while you explore other islands, we’ve designed a team of self-sufficient bots that can work autonomously. These bots can form production chains, defend you and other bots from aggressive creatures, and turn your base into a fortress.

Venture to new islands, each with its own biomes, creatures, materials, landmarks, and secrets. Be cautious, as every cave, bush, and grain of sand may hold something interesting and mysterious. Along the way, you’ll encounter other NPCs who can offer upgrades or helpful items for trade.

Once you start your planetary industry, you’ll be able to sell extracted resources to other planets and earn kredits (currency name, there is no mistake!). These kredits can be used to purchase new upgrades and content, so get ready to explore and trade.

Now it’s time to take the journey to the next level by producing a shuttle that will allow you to travel to the Space Station – a dedicated hub where you can meet new NPCs, purchase new skins for the character, buy blueprints to develop new technologies on your planet, and even purchase your own house.

Create Your Own Legend in Apogee’s Action-Adventure Dungeon Maker “Quest Master”

Demo coming soon to Steam, Early Access in Q3 2023

LAS VEGAS — June 7, 2023 — Quest Master, the dungeon-designing sandbox adventure from publisher Apogee Entertainment and developer Skydevilpalm, will deliver a robust toolset to build retro top-down dungeons on PC via Steam Early Access in Q3 2023, before arriving on Nintendo Switch alongside the 1.0 release, as revealed in the Guerrilla Collective showcase. Construct custom adventures in the upcoming demo coming soon to Steam for PC.

Craft a legendary journey from scratch with an intuitive level creator to make simple dungeons and overworld-connected quests in this faithful pixel art love letter to top-down action JRPG classics of yesteryear. Drag-and-drop dozens of themed design tiles onto a blank canvas to create lava-filled caverns, mountainous overworlds, grassy forests, desert dunes, and more. Provide instructions for the quest ahead or design an epic narrative full of placeable NPCs and customizable signs with a plethora of dialogue options.

When the masterpiece is complete, fearlessly charge into the world, ready to face belligerent bats, surly snakes, and nefarious skeletons. Keep enemies at a safe distance with a bow or bring them in for combat close with a precisely aimed hookshot. Master weapons and powerful magic, navigate user-created labyrinths, unlock doors and solve puzzles while defending against the dangers that lurk within. Guide progression with bodies of water and boulders that can only be traversed with a hammer or flippers.

The journey is as easy or as difficult as the creator wishes. Invent patience-testing experiences or entire quests with multiple biomes, bosses, and side missions. Place enemy spawn points in strategic locations to create challenging dungeons (that can lock upon entry!) before concocting the perfect puzzle with the ideal amount of flaming traps, levers, timed switches, and invisible chests.

Venture through bespoke labyrinths solo, or dungeon-crawl cooperatively with up to 3-player multiplayer sessions. Share created quests with others and try out worlds made by fellow designers online. Recreate classic levels from famous top-down action games of old, and craft adventures reminiscent of the 16-bit classics.

Quest Master hands over the controls to the players to make whatever they want,” said Julian Creutz, Lead Developer of Quest Master. “The possibilities are endless, and we can’t wait to see all kinds of wacky dungeons and full-blown adventures players are able to come up with.”

SEVEN KNIGHTS 2 SHINES BRIGHT WITH NEW LEGENDARY+ HERO, CHILD OF LIGHT PHINE

LOS ANGELES – June 7, 2023 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, announces a new update for the mobile RPG Seven Knights 2. New content and experiences are now available for all players to enjoy, including a new Legendary+ Hero, costumes, and several limited-time events.

Child of Light Phiné, a newly added Legendary+ Hero, joins the fight in the latest Seven Knights 2 update. She is a ranged support type, perfect for helping her friends on the battlefield. Her passive skill decreases Skill Gauge Recovery Rate to all in the same row while increasing the attack of all allies and Critical Damage in proportion to HP lost in the PvP field. This makes her an excellent addition to lineups that don’t rely on ultimates.

Phiné’s ultimate skill deals damage equal to a certain percentage of Attack that is distributed among all enemies within 6 meters around the target. It also recovers the HP of all allies by a certain percentage of the caster’s Max HP, making her a powerhouse healer, and perfect for keeping her allies up and running.

As part of this update, the Child of Destiny Phiné outfit will also be added for an alternate look. This sundress means she’ll be ready to keep your team healthy with superior healing skills.

Several new events are now available from June 7 through June 21, including:

  • Child of Light Phiné Release Celebration Check-In Event!: Players who log in to Seven Knights 2 for seven consecutive days will be rewarded with 3000 Rubies and 5000 Maps.
  • Phiné’s Hopeful Dessert Shop! Event: Using Phiné’s Cake rewarded in various quest rewards, players can craft various rewards, including Ultimate Legendary+ Equipment Set Selection Tickets, Forgotten Memory Pieces and more.
  • Summon with Phiné & Make Desserts! Special Event: Players can summon or transcend heroes at the summon shop. Additionally, players can also obtain Mythic Elixir, Outfit Tickets, Phiné’s Sweet Cakes and more.
  • Collect Phiné’s Delicious Sweet Cakes! Special Mission Event: Completing Field Exploration and earning final rewards from daily missions will have a chance to get Phiné’s Sweet Cakes in addition to normal rewards.

The official sequel to Seven Knights, a game enjoyed by 60 million players globally, Seven Knights 2 takes place 20 years after the original and introduces beautiful open world gameplay. The story centers on the Daybreak Mercenaries who embark on a journey to find the last member of the Seven Knights, “Rudy,” after a series of events involving a mysterious girl named Phiné. Stunning cinematics and graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4 will immerse players in this epic game story filled with unique characters and powerful bosses. Players can collect and develop their heroes and experience a new combat system with powerful ultimates and suppressors.

Seven Knights 2 is available now for download on Google Play, App Store and Windows PC (beta).

More information on Seven Knights 2 can be found on the official Facebook page, YouTube and forums or by visiting Netmarble’s Global YouTube channel.
