TEKKEN 8, the upcoming entry in the legendary franchise will be playable to selected players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC with a Closed Network Test (CNT), that will start on July 21, 2023.

Developed by Bandai Namco Studio Inc., TEKKEN 8 promises to be the most visually stunning TEKKEN title yet, and comes along with major new changes to combat, with a new “aggressive” combat system that encourages an offense-first play style, rewarding players who stay on the attack while offering spectacular plays. With the upcoming CNT, players will have a chance to experience this new philosophy and play a part in helping influence key game mechanic and features coming to TEKKEN 8.

The TEKKEN 8 CNT will feature online head-to-head “Ranked matches” with cross-platform matchmaking. Titled “No Safe Place in Space,” this new trailer showcases the haunting environments awaiting players and their trusty Pet Gun as they explore procedurally generated derelict ships where monsters lie in wait, danger lurks around every turn, and even ordinary objects can turn into lethal surprises!

Highlighted features in the trailer include:

• Hazardous Levels: Players will discover a variety of levels, some on the verge of collapse, requiring platforming skills to traverse safely. Interactive machinery like retractable bridges offer new paths, but may draw hordes of monsters. Vents provide a claustrophobic challenge, as players are pursued relentlessly by smaller creatures.
• Robots: Decommissioned robots may malfunction and become hostile. Avoiding contact with these hulking metal machines is often the safest way forward. Stealthily approach and deactivate them to gain resource rewards, or destroy them from a safe distance.
• Mimic Chairs: Unassuming chairs become lurking enemies, mimicking ordinary seats while patiently awaiting their prey. Players must stay vigilant, promptly identifying and eliminating these mimics before they strike.
• Mimic Doors: Even opening doors can become a tense experience, as monsters mimic doors until revealing themselves, armed with deadly close-range attacks and rifle fire. Players must utilize all available resources to combat these formidable adversaries.
• Turrets: Derelict ships are equipped with dangerous turrets that can scan rooms, detect players, and unleash deadly firepower. Players can choose to dismantle them with precise shots or employ the Pet Gun’s ferocious attack to tear them apart.

London (June 8, 2023) Today at Summer Game Fest 2023, Capcom unveiled a special crossover between Exoprimal™ and Street Fighter™ 6. In this collaboration, Ryu and Guile will face new challengers in Capcom’s upcoming online team-based action game. Following their return with the launch of Street Fighter 6, these iconic World Warriors will join Capcom’s newest IP to take down hordes of dinosaurs in fall 2023.

The Exoprimal x Street Fighter 6 collaboration transforms Ryu and Guile into Exosuit skins players can equip when hitting the streets of Bikitoa Island. Keep on alert for future announcements on a combo of other Street Fighter™-themed cosmetic items Exofighters can take into the wargames this autumn. More crossovers between Exoprimal other Capcom titles are also in the works, so stay tuned!

Exoprimal releases on July 14 across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and PC via Steam. The game also launches day-one with Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud.

Exoprimal is an online, team-based action game pitting humanity’s futuristic Exosuit technology against history’s most ferocious beasts – dinosaurs. Set in 2040, players are pulled into wargames orchestrated by the advanced A.I. Leviathan.
