April’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup features three games available to all PlayStation Plus members. Lords of the Fallen

Overthrow a resurrected demon god in this all-new adventure set in an interconnected world five times larger than the original game. In Lords of the Fallen, you play as one of the fabled Dark Crusaders, who must journey through the realms of the living and the dead to disrupt the reign of Adyr, a cruel tyrant who has ushered in a new age of devastation for humanity. Along the way, you’ll endure colossal boss battles and get to grips with a fast and challenging combat system. With nine character classes and hundreds of weapons to choose from, you’ll customise your hero and develop your own play style as you set out to defy the gods.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered

Play the original three Tomb Raider adventures: for the first time ever, play the complete experience with all expansions and secret levels on modern platforms in this definitive collection. Experience the classics, boasting upgraded graphics, with the option to switch to the original polygon look at any time. The collection includes a new Challenge Mode: replay levels with customised modifiers and complete achievements to unlock 10 New Outfits that enhance Lara’s abilities.

Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream

Galaxia, a new system allowing players to relive the past, has been added to ALfheim Online; however, Galaxia spins out of control, causing players from all over time and space to be displaced! To set the timeline back on track, Kirito must work with fallen friends…and foes. True to the Sword Art Online series, join a raid party and prepare for a fight with high difficulty bosses together! How you prepare for the fight is the key to victory. Each with their own specific role on the battlefield, 21 SAO characters from various arcs are gathered to fight. Team up with a total of 20 players from around the world in one of five parties comprised of 4 players each for multiplayer co-op action!

Biped 2 Celebrates The Franchise’s 6 Year Anniversary With Revamped Puzzles and Peer-to-Peer Online Matchmaking on Steam

Biped 2 is also discounted to $10.99 on Steam for a limited time

Nicosia, Cyprus (April 1st, 2026) | Today, Biped 2, the cute co-op puzzle platformer for up to four players — infamous for its notorious difficulty — is receiving  a significant content update on Steam, making it more accessible, more varied, and more fun to play. In addition, the introduction of the often-requested peer-to-peer matchmaking makes organizing online coop smoother than ever. To commemorate the latest update, Biped 2 will also be discounted to $10.99 on Steam from April 1 to April 15.

Players now have to twist their brains into knots even more, but in a fun way! All 17 levels have been significantly overhauled with new puzzle mechanics ranging from those inspired by old Japanese game shows to classic logic puzzles, or even chaotic games of tag with elemental creatures. The puzzles play significantly differently in co-op than when you go it alone, forcing players to communicate to overcome each challenge.

To make playing with friends easier, peer-to-peer matchmaking has been added as an option for online coop, alongside the originally launched Friend’s Pass, which allows friends or family to play together online with only one copy of the game needed.

The update is now live on Steam, and will arrive on console in the coming weeks.

Finally, to celebrate the update,Biped 2 will be discounted 45% on Steam to $10.99 from April 1st to 15th. The Bundle consisting of Biped and Biped 2 will be discounted a further 10%.

About Biped 2

In Biped 2, up to four cute, bipedal robots try to save the world by solving puzzles and overcoming challenges requiring brain power, coordination, and communication. You can play by yourself, in two player and four player coop, both online or on the couch in your living room. The bipeds are fully customizable, and the Steam workshop allows players to build their own levels to make life for their friends even more miserable!

Active Matter expands with Gigastructure

The new update brings massive locations, large-scale battles and new permadeath mechanics

Gaijin Entertainment and the Matter Team are pleased to announce that the major update “Gigastructure” is now available for the hardcore online shooter Active Matter. Players can embark on raids in the new large-scale locations – mysterious Gigastructure and the overgrown Park – each offering unique tactical challenges, anomalies and opportunities for survival. The new Hired Ops PvP mode is now available, new monsters roam Active Matter world, and the selection of weapons, attachments and gear has been expanded and allows for more customization options for both weapons and camouflages. Finally, the update will elevate the “high risk, high reward” principle to heights never seen before in the genre, as permadeath will now mean losing game progress. After the official launch, permadeath punishment will be even harsher, resulting in losing the current Active Matter game edition.

The Gigastructure itself stands as one of the most ambitious environments in the game so far – a colossal, brutalist megastructure hiding threats and rewards in equal measure. Its design is heavily influenced by the Soviet era Eastern European architecture, but immensely and grotesquely twisted by the active matter. In contrast, the Park blends nature with the unknown. Situated between Shchegolsky and Dogorsk, it is dominated by a massive greenhouse. Flamethrowers and incendiary grenades are highly recommended for those who want to survive the approach.

In the new Hired Ops mode, players fight across vast maps using vehicles, deployable turrets and strategic reinforcements. Teams capture and hold key beacons to earn points, while respawns now occur in synchronized waves, bringing fallen players back into battle at regular intervals. Operators can call in support such as vehicles and even airstrikes, or unleash monsters onto the battlefield to disrupt enemy plans.

The update also delivers a new batch of weapons tailored for different combat scenarios. Close-quarters specialists will appreciate new submachine guns such as the Gepard, featuring a 40-round magazine, and the PP-2000, equipped with a Picatinny rail for optics and supporting extended 44-round magazines. For long-range engagements, players gain access to the VSSK “Vykhlop” sniper rifle with an integrated suppressor and the M24 with standard bipods. When facing multiple enemies, the EV-MG machine gun provides sustained firepower. Meanwhile, the APS automatic pistol allows players to quickly eliminate threats at close range with burst fire capability.

Most weapons can now be equipped with colored laser aiming devices, improving hip-fire accuracy, but potentially exposing the player’s position in low-light conditions.

The full list of new content and improvements is available on the official Active Matter website.

Retro Survival Horror Ground Zero Launches on PC & Consoles This April

Leamington Spa, UK – April 01, 2026:  Leading UK games publisher Kwalee and independent developer Malformation Games have announced that their upcoming retro-inspired survival horror title, Ground Zero, will launch on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S this April.

Players will descend into the dark, ruined streets of Busan, South Korea when Ground Zero launches on April 16, 2026.

Set in a devastated South Korea, Ground Zero challenges players to uncover the truth behind the mysterious meteor impact that has reduced the nation to ruins and transformed every living thing into a monstrous threat. Atmospheric, brutal and steeped in tension, the game promises a gripping survival horror experience rooted in classic genre sensibilities.

About Ground Zero – A devastating meteor impact has wiped out South Korea. Two months later as the dust and lightning storms settle and the air becomes breathable, an elite Korean operative and her Canadian partner are sent to investigate. What waits for them in the foggy remains is more terrifying than they ever could have imagined…

Key Features:

  • Fight terrifying monsters that lurk in the dark corners of Busan, mutated by the fallout of the impact.
  • Uncover the truth of what really hit Busan that day. What are these strange growths unravelling from the meteor impact, and why has it corrupted what little life remains in the aftermath?
  • Explore a beautiful city in ruins, from shoreline towns and temples to the urban center.
  • Defend yourself with an array of abilities; shoot, stab, kick and counter as an expert soldier trained in firearms and martial combat.
  • Perfect your fighting skills and get rewarded. Cleaner kills means more Genome Points, which can be traded for powerful gear upgrades.
  • Take on huge, terrifying bosses. Seo-Yeon has no idea just how bad the mutations can get in the heart of the city. Be prepared for anything.
  • Relive the spirit of classic Survival Horror. Ground Zero captures the nostalgia of retro horror titles with fixed cameras and pre-rendered backgrounds, puzzles, custom difficulty and optional tank controls.
  • Have fun with unlockables and extra content: alternate outfits, additional game modes and hidden endings await players curious enough to find them.

Enlisted players get access to Great War battles

The new update features trench warfare and old-fashioned weaponry

Gaijin Entertainment announces that Enlisted, the online shooter set in World War II, is expanding to include key battles from the Great War as well. To this end, squads with new extra-low Battle Rating levels – from zero to minus three – will be added to the game. Testing of the new mechanics will take place during the “All Loud on the Western Front” event, which will run until April 15th.

During this new event, players will be transported to the battlefields of the Great War, where they will find trenches, bolt-action rifles, clubs, and stationary machine guns. They will be able to experience war unlike anything they’ve seen in the game before. Here, a fierce battle for every inch of ground unfolds under artillery fire and gas attacks.

The event will center on a sector capture mode: two points are active simultaneously –  one must be held, the other must be stormed. On a given signal, a general offensive begins involving the entire team, after which the enemy launches a counterattack. Particular attention is paid to the call for backup: radio stations are located at key positions, allowing players to call in artillery fire, bombardment, or even gas attacks. In the latter case, gas masks become not just cosmetic items as they were previously, but a vital piece of equipment.

For completing event objectives, players will earn Battle Pass rewards, including unique weapons of the era, themed customization items, and in-game resources. New items include the SMLE Mk III (T) and Mondragón M1908 rifles, as well as trench clubs, essential to the battles of World War I.

You can read more about World War I in Enlisted on the game’s official website.

Walking mechs join War Thunder Mobile battles

A whole new class of military vehicles is being tested in the new event

Gaijin Entertainment is pleased to announce the start of the “Mech Thunder” event in War Thunder Mobile, adding historically accurate walking military vehicles to the game for the first time. Players can now test the first prototypes, with this type of weaponry soon becoming a key element on the game’s battlefields.

According to recently declassified archives, in the late 1930s, the world’s leading powers actively experimented with combat walkers capable of traversing trenches, minefields, and ruined roads with unprecedented ease. Several vehicles typical of that era are being tested in War Thunder Mobile, from the Soviet heavy ShT-1 to the German Wandernder Panzer and the American Bulldog reconnaissance walker.

Players will be able to experience this evolution of armored vehicles firsthand in the special “Mech Thunder” mode. Battles take place in a 10 vs 10 format, where alongside classic tanks, you can call in walkers, including light scouts and heavy vehicles with howitzers and experimental missile weapons. The mode features three unique locations: from a port cargo terminal to the Japanese “Copper Grove,” where traditional architecture contrasts with airships in the sky.

Participation in the event will allow you to earn valuable rewards, including rare vehicles! For example, the legendary Object 279, as well as the Finnish battleship Väinämöinen and the experimental XF5U-1 aircraft. Players will also receive unique decorations and other themed prizes.

The “Mech Thunder” event has already begun and will run until April 15th.

Strategic nuclear bomber tech trees will be added to War Thunder

Combined arms battles in War Thunder will now feature nuclear strikes and anti-radiation missiles

Gaijin Entertainment announces that strategic bombers carrying conventional and nuclear weapons will become a new class of military vehicles in the online action game War Thunder. These giants will be joining the already available tactical aircraft, helicopters, ground vehicles, bluewater and coastal navy.  The first test of these mighty machines has started today and will last until April 13th.

War Thunder players have had limited access to nuclear weapons for a while now in the form of streaks, which allowed them to spawn a nuke carrier if they performed well enough. Going forward however, these nuclear-cable aircraft will have their own research branch, introducing nuclear weapons to classic combined arms battles. Ground vehicles with high levels of protection still have a good chance of surviving tactical nuke blasts. They will not have as much of a chance against strategic strikes however, but teams can counter these attacks effectively by utilizing skillful air defense strategies.

The new limited-time event “Nuclear Thunder” will see players fighting in a large-scale conflict between the USA and USSR on a new Central American map. The mode features escalation mechanics that gradually unlock increasingly devastating weaponry – from conventional arms to tactical nukes, and eventually, strategic nuclear strikes. Participants will command tactical and strategic aviation equipped with nuclear ordnance of up to 1.6 megatons, supported by advanced electronic countermeasures.

The battlefield is dynamic: players will break through layered air defenses, destroy supply depots and convoys, disable airfields, and suppress enemy anti-air systems to shift the balance of the war. As the conflict escalates, new weapons become available. Tactical nuclear bombs of 5 and 30 kilotons appear first, followed by access to strategic bombers carrying megaton-class payloads.

At the highest escalation level, players can deploy the iconic B-52H and Tu-95M, capable of delivering devastating strikes that can decide the outcome of the battle. By participating in the event and completing stages, players can permanently unlock these legendary Cold War bombers that are still the backbone of the nuclear forces of the USA and Russia. The B-52H and the Tu-95M will be added to players’ research trees and remain available even after the event ends.

A key addition to War Thunder’s arsenal are the new anti-radiation missiles, designed to target radar-emitting air defense systems. These new missiles include the American AGM-88A HARM and the Soviet Kh-58U and Kh-25MPU. These will prove quite useful for breaking through anti-air defenses to deliver the final nuclear blow.

More information on the event and strategic bombers in War Thunder is available on the official website.
