Revealed during the PC Gaming Show and available for free with Update 1.4 on Steam, Creative Mode is a fun new way to play, giving players the tools to add customizable voxels directly into the game to make whatever mad designs they can imagine.

Creative Mode lets players effortlessly build new objects of all shapes and sizes in Teardown with a variety of voxel materials, including wood, brick, metal and more. From there, you can save, spawn, move and duplicate the fruits of your labor with complete ease. Creative Mode can be accessed by entering any level in Sandbox Mode, then selecting Creative Mode from the menu.

Alongside Creative Mode, Update 1.4 also brings new changes to Teardown‘s API, offering modders even more robust tools to build their own in-game content. For the first time ever, modders can make scripts to rearrange and manipulate shapes by dynamically adding and removing voxels at run-time. This opens the door to whole new worlds in Teardown where seeds can grow into trees, buildings can autonomously construct themselves, vehicles that gather rust can be created – and any other real-time transformations the community can imagine!

NEXON Korea Corp. (CEO: Jung-Hun Lee) announced on Wednesday, June 14, an update for the subculture game Blue Archive’s latest story event, Cathedra’s Merry Christmas: Remedial Knights’ Gift, developed by their subsidiary company Nexon Games (CEO: Yong-Hyun Park).

In this Event Story, players will see what happens when Christmas arrives in Kivotos as the Remedial Knights get caught up in a conspiracy involving the Thugs. Throughout the Event Story, players can earn various Elephs and equipment to help them grow. Upon completing the story, players can get items like Pyroxene x400 and Secret Tech Notes.

Meanwhile, two new students have also been added. Serina (Christmas) is a Piercing-type Striker student from Trinity General School who uses her EX Skill: Echo of Blessings to increase Crit DMG for allies within a circle (excluding herself) and grants them one Holy Night’s Blessing. Those allies gain Piercing Effectiveness proportional to the amount of Holy Night’s Blessings they have accumulated. Hanae (Christmas) is a Mystic-type Special student from the same academy. Her EX Skill, Time for Presents!, grants one Holy Night’s Blessing to allies within a circle. Those allies gain a 60-second continuous recovery effect proportional to the amount of Holy Night’s Blessing and Healing they get.

Nexon is also introducing new Mini Story content where Sensei can get to know the students in a whole new way. The first two episodes of the mini stories, The Red Winter Tour Log, are available now, and more are expected to be released in the near future.

To celebrate the update, Nexon is giving away Pyroxene x100 every day until Tuesday, June 27, and a new Furniture item, the Warm Christmas Fireplace, on day seven.

AUSTIN – June 14, 2023 – Micro Machines: Mini Challenge Mayhem, the toy car racing and track creation game, starts its tiny engines in Q4 2023 on VR platforms, as revealed today at the UploadVR Showcase. Relive the golden days of adolescence, racing Micro Machines around tracks, but using the power of virtual reality to bring otherwise impossible courses, stunts, and speed to life. Utilize simple controls inspired by slot-car racers, where the analog trigger on VR controllers regulates how fast the car goes. Blaze through circuits as quickly as possible, but maintain proper speed around turns to perform stunts at maximum speed.

Build incredible tracks using an incredibly intuitive, easy-to-use system taking advantage of VR controllers to manipulate, switch, and place pieces. Build impossible courses with moving parts, loop-de-loops, and stretches suspended in mid-air, to achieve speeds no toy car has ever reached. 

Micro Machines: Mini Challenge Mayhem supports building tracks in Mixed Reality at mind-blowing scope and scale. Build courses that will send cars racing over sofas, under beds, and around sleepy pets. Create portals to send a vehicle racing through a wall in the kitchen, and then fly out of another spot in the living room. Send toy monster trucks crashing through elaborate set pieces, all without any mess or cleanup. 

Racing skill and creative course building mesh together in the Campaign mode, where different objectives require choosing the right car and the proper course to get the job done! Some objectives require a fast car and a track built for speed, while others demand a (miniature) monster truck that can rack up destruction points. Modify the circuits and customize cars as necessary to get three stars and earn new vehicles and parts for faster racing and bigger stunts.

14 June 2023 – nDreams, the award-winning VR publisher, developer, and headline sponsor of the Upload VR Showcase, has given a deeper look at three of its upcoming VR titles at the event.

Action shooter Synapse for PS VR2, PowerWash Simulator VR, and relaxing city builder Little Cities for Meta Quest were all showcased with brand new gameplay trailers that provided further details and insight into what players can expect from this eclectic mix of VR titles in the months ahead.

The Synapse Gameplay Trailer provided a deeper dive into how players will be upgrading and evolving their arsenal and telekinetic abilities, as they fight deep into the mind of an enemy of the state this 4 July.  It also provided some additional narrative context to the game’s setting, including insights into Peter Conrad (voiced by David Hayter) and Clara Sorensen’s (voiced by Jennifer Hale) in-game dynamics.

The PowerWash Simulator VR Gameplay Trailer welcomed players to showcase their play style, from The Perfectionist to The Dirt Destroyer. Hybrid sandbox-roguelike melee brawler featured in UploadVR Showcase 

QUEENSLAND, Australia – June 14, 2023 – Paint the Town Red, the first-person brawler with sandbox combat levels and a massive roguelike mode from South East Games, makes the madcap melee even more personal in VR on Steam, PlayStation VR2, and Meta Quest 2 in early 2024, as announced at the Upload VR Showcase earlier today. 

Following its highly popular 1.0 release in 2021, Paint the Town Red comes out swinging in VR in a violent voxel world made for destruction. Obliterate enemies and obstacles in a crimson splash of blocks through fast paced melee combat. Take prospective brawlers on a bruising trip through punishing arenas above and below ground. Fight hand-to-hand or unpack an arsenal of more than 200 weapons ranging anywhere from pool cues and giant ham legs to futuristic firearms and blades.  

Pick a bar fight for the ages in Scenarios mode, exploring different timelines through high octane sandbox arenas. Start scraps in unexpected locations like a rowdy Biker Bar, a Disco, an old Western Saloon, an early ‘90s Prison, and a Pirate Cove, each with a slew of enemies armed and ready with period accurate weaponry. Fight to the bloody end in the Arena mode, a gauntlet of increasingly difficult waves of combat.

Sink to the depths in Beneath mode, a roguelike dungeon crawling experience where the real monsters come out to play. Infiltrate an underground network infested with undead creatures and unravel spine-tingling mysteries in each procedurally generated run. Solve puzzles, explore caves and ruins, and gain class specific abilities like teleportation and necromancy. Face off against the ultimate evil in the form of four devastating Elder Gods.
