After some cozy development time, Wanderful is ready to share a new trailer, demo, and dev gameplay showcase in time for Steam Next Fest later this month.

Hamburg, Germany, June 15, 2023 – Developers Tiny Roar and publisher Daedalic Entertainment are proud to open up on their upcoming cozy gem Wanderful with a new trailer, demo, and developer gameplay showcase in time for Steam Next Fest beginning June 19th to the 26th, 2023. Developer Tiny Roar tells the tale of how the wacky, cozy, builder-explorer game came to be. Wanderful is headed to Early Access on PC in 2023.

After a little wait and plenty of cozy development, Tiny Roar invites you to play the Wanderful demo at Steam Next Fest. In this remarkable, infinitely replayable builder-explorer, you discover a procedurally generated world of different biomes and residents while placing and combining buildings and other structures on your way. No two playthroughs are the same in this wacky, wondrous but always charming world. Tiny Roar is eager to see what the Steam Next Fest players create and what journeys they will embark on when the free demo is available later this month

A Wanderful playthrough is like a storybook that is written as you play. First, start off at a small encampment with your eager explorer ready to start their journey, forgotten in time – a lush forest here, a sparkling lake there – you wander into the unknown and start creating your world, piece by piece. In Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg, players are reintroduced to Marie, a struggling student at the Royal Academy of Magic, whose ultimate goal is to create an item within five years that will satisfy her teacher. NEXON Korea Corp. (CEO: Jung-Hun Lee) announced on Wednesday, June 14, an update for the subculture game Blue Archive’s latest story event, Cathedra’s Merry Christmas: Remedial Knights’ Gift, developed by their subsidiary company Nexon Games (CEO: Yong-Hyun Park).

In this Event Story, players will see what happens when Christmas arrives in Kivotos as the Remedial Knights get caught up in a conspiracy involving the Thugs. Throughout the Event Story, players can earn various Elephs and equipment to help them grow. Upon completing the story, players can get items like Pyroxene x400 and Secret Tech Notes.

Meanwhile, two new students have also been added. Serina (Christmas) is a Piercing-type Striker student from Trinity General School who uses her EX Skill: Echo of Blessings to increase Crit DMG for allies within a circle (excluding herself) and grants them one Holy Night’s Blessing. Those allies gain Piercing Effectiveness proportional to the amount of Holy Night’s Blessings they have accumulated. Hanae (Christmas) is a Mystic-type Special student from the same academy. Her EX Skill, Time for Presents!, grants one Holy Night’s Blessing to allies within a circle. Those allies gain a 60-second continuous recovery effect proportional to the amount of Holy Night’s Blessing and Healing they get.

Nexon is also introducing new Mini Story content where Sensei can get to know the students in a whole new way. The first two episodes of the mini stories, The Red Winter Tour Log, are available now, and more are expected to be released in the near future.

To celebrate the update, Nexon is giving away Pyroxene x100 every day until Tuesday, June 27, and a new Furniture item, the Warm Christmas Fireplace, on day seven.

Murder on the Orient Express has been developed by Microids Studio Lyon, with artistic direction by Cédric Peyravernay, a French artist who has made significant contributions to the video game industry. He has showcased his talent and expertise as a character designer in major projects such as Diablo IV, Prey, Dishonored 2, Dishonored, and two episodes of the Netflix series Love, Death + Robots. The 48-page artbook, available in the Deluxe Edition, showcases some of the artist’s character design work.

About Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express:

On board the Orient Express, the legendary detective Hercule Poirot tries to solve the murder that has taken place on the prestigious train while surrounded by a cast of intriguing characters with their own secrets and motives. Solving the mystery won’t be easy and through numerous twists and turns, players will have to use their little grey cells as well as detective skills to unravel the truth and bring it to light.

Industry veterans at WIMO Games collaborate with Hasbro for virtual reality track building and racing.

AUSTIN – June 14, 2023 – Micro Machines: Mini Challenge Mayhem, the toy car racing and track creation game, starts its tiny engines in Q4 2023 on VR platforms, as revealed today at the UploadVR Showcase. Micro Machines come to life in VR thanks to global branded entertainment leader Hasbro in collaboration with WIMO Games’ creative staff of former vice presidents and gaming industry veterans from companies including Electronic Arts, GREE, Zynga, and KingsIsle Entertainment. 

Relive the golden days of adolescence, racing Micro Machines around tracks, but using the power of virtual reality to bring otherwise impossible courses, stunts, and speed to life. Utilize simple controls inspired by slot-car racers, where the analog trigger on VR controllers regulates how fast the car goes. Blaze through circuits as quickly as possible, but maintain proper speed around turns to perform stunts at maximum speed.

Build incredible tracks using an incredibly intuitive, easy-to-use system taking advantage of VR controllers to manipulate, switch, and place pieces. Build impossible courses with moving parts, loop-de-loops, and stretches suspended in mid-air, to achieve speeds no toy car has ever reached. 

Micro Machines: Mini Challenge Mayhem supports building tracks in Mixed Reality at mind-blowing scope and scale. Build courses that will send cars racing over sofas, under beds, and around sleepy pets. Create portals to send a vehicle racing through a wall in the kitchen, and then fly out of another spot in the living room. Send toy monster trucks crashing through elaborate set pieces, all without any mess or cleanup. 

Racing skill and creative course building mesh together in the Campaign mode, where different objectives require choosing the right car and the proper course to get the job done! Some objectives require a fast car and a track built for speed, while others demand a (miniature) monster truck that can rack up destruction points. Modify the circuits and customize cars as necessary to get three stars and earn new vehicles and parts for faster racing and bigger stunts.
