LOS ANGELES – August 3, 2023 – Leading mobile game developer and publisher Netmarble is excited to announce it has launched the first game update for its recently released collectible RPG, Tower of God: New World.  Starting today, players can experience a variety of newly added content, including SSR character Hwaryun, Story Act 5 ‘Evankhell’s Deep-Sea Fish,’ and several limited-time events.

Hwaryun jumps towards the Weakpoint enemy to deal her ATK, or she can swing her staff to deal ATK to other enemies, knocking them back from the fight. Additionally, Hwaryun can increase nearby allies’ Swiftness and their ATK, while creating a barrier equal to ATK.

The new main Story Act 5, ‘Evankhell’s Deep-Sea Fish,’ is now available uncovering new stories surrounding Evankhell: Clues from the Past, Administrator’s Test, and Royal Enforcement Division.

To celebrate Tower of God: New Worlds’ first update, players can enjoy multiple events and earn various rewards:

• Hwaryeon Mission Event: Players who clear in-game missions related to Hwaryeon (Reach Proficiency, Reach Rapport and Reach Limit Break Tier) can earn many rewards such as the Normal Summon Ticket, Battle Log, and more.
• 2023 Vacation Campaign Eve Check-in: Starting today through August 16, players who check-in to the game will have the opportunity to receive a variety of rewards including Shinsu, EXP, Normal Summon Tickets, Suspendium and more.
• Alliance Expedition: The event is divided into two phases: the Search Phase and the Boss Phase. During the Search Phase (available until August 9), players will work with alliance members to find Alliance Weapons. These weapons can be used during the Boss Phase to use the Alliance Skill. When entering the Boss Phase, Alliance Points are earned according to the amount of damage dealt to the Boss. Various rewards based on the player’s rank will be provided once the season ends.

In Tower of God: New World, players can take control of fan-favorite characters to ascend the Tower. Join Twenty-Fifth Bam – and 69 characters – as he fights his way through the Tower in gorgeous 3D animation that will make players feel like they have stepped into an anime world. Players will experience fast-paced battle mechanics while utilizing a unique Slot System that powers up a particular “slot” instead of a specific character.

• New Champions Road Event Challenges – Players are able to complete Event Challenges to unlock various RLCS-themed Rewards, such as the Rocket League World Championship Trophy Topper, Pro-Tek Wheels, and Shmeedian Decal (Octane).  Golden Trophies are also available as a Challenge Reward and will unlock Items from the Velocity, Triumph, and Vindicator Item Series.
• New RLCS World Championship-Themed Items – The 2023 Rocket League World Championship Bundle is now available in the Item Shop for 1500 Credits. The bundle includes the RLCS Crystalline Decal (universal), Boost, and Wheels, along with the “PANDEMONIUM” by NF Player Anthem, which is the official 2023 World Championship theme song.
• Two Limited Time Modes – 2v2 Heatseeker will be live from August 3 – August 10 and Boomer Ball will be live from August 10 – August 17.
• Esports Shop Discounts – Throughout Champions Road, players will be able to purchase Decals for 200 Esports Tokens, Player Banners for 50 Esports Tokens, and Goal Explosions for 300 Esports Tokens in the Esports Shop.

Champions Road begins ahead of the Rocket League World Championship, which will take place in two phases: the Wildcard Stage running from August 4 – 6 and the Main Event from August 9 – 13. The Rocket League World Championship can be viewed on the Rocket League Twitch channel, Rocket League Esports YouTube channel, and Rocket League TikTok channel.

Today, Xbox shared details on what we have planned for gamescom 2023. This year, we’ll have the largest booth we’ve ever had at gamescom, featuring a huge amount of exciting new games coming to console, PC and Game Pass, fantastic photo opportunities, the return of Xbox FanFest and much more.

On the show floor we’ll have exclusive theatre presentations of Starfield, Forza Motorsport and Ara: History Untold. Towerborne, the newest adventure from the developers at Stoic, will be hands-on for the first time and we’ll have the latest content coming to The Elder Scrolls Online and Microsoft Flight Simulator. In addition, over 25 titles from our third-party partners and ID@Xbox friends will be playable, including the world debuts of GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, Overkill Software and Starbreeze Studios’ Payday 3, DontNod’s recently announced Jusant, FromSoftware’s ARMORED CORE VI: Fires of Rubicon, Recreate Games’ Party Animals, CD PROJEKT RED’s Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Spotlight by Quantic Dream’s Under the Waves, Sega Atlus‘ Persona 5 Tactica and many more.
