Three Guilty Gear -Strive- characters coming in SS7
Shanghai, China — November 4, 2026 | XD Games is thrilled to announce that Etheria: Restart’s latest HYPA Season, SS6.4 Eidolon Scourge, is now live worldwide. Additionally, the Chinese publisher has teased a new global collaboration with the developer and publisher of fighting game franchise Guilty Gear, Arc System Works.
The collaboration was officially announced at the October TapTap Games Showcase and will see three characters from Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear -Strive- joining the Etheria: Restart roster as Animuses from a new faction. More details on Etheria: Restart X Guilty Gear -Strive- and SS7 will be revealed at a later date.
In the meantime, players can dive into SS6.4 Eidolon Scourge, the extended finale of the SS6 Pyrite Nyx anniversary season, which is now live. This latest update introduces a powerful new character, new Arena rules, and quality-of-life improvements to the turn-based RPG.

SS6.4 sees the introduction of Thalos, the vice-captain of the Elysian faction’s Third Manhunter Corps. Thalos is a defense-oriented support Animus built to take damage in place of his allies by wearing down enemies in combat with Damage-Over-Time abilities like Infernal Flame.
If he falls in combat, Thalos is able to revive himself with a percentage of his max HP on a later turn. In addition to his endurance and immunity to control effects, Thalos will greatly improve any team’s survivability.
During SS6.4, a limited-time “Prowess Up” event will be live, allowing players who max out Thalos’ potential to earn exclusive in-game rewards.
This latest update also introduces a new draft option to Etheria: Restart’s PvP mode, the Summit Arena. Now, players who enter the arena can challenge themselves with a new affinity-restricted draft format that will test their team composition skills.
In this new format, players will be tasked with choosing from a set of different character affinity combinations at the start of every match. They’ll then only be able to field combatants with a matching affinity for that bout.
Plus, win points are increased during this Summit Arena Special Season and players below Platinum rank will no longer lose points if they lose a match, making it even easier to push for Legend status.
Players can also expect to experiment with a selection of new and returning in-game activities and improvements during the event and beyond.
These include a new auto-matched arena event, new banner pull event, and a new “smart-butler” feature — the Seneschal Chaku — that allows players to easily claim rewards from dailies, make one-click purchases from shops, and more.
