Sets Summer 2027 Launch Riyo Games and Balor Games bring their time-spanning, turn-based JRPG-inspired adventure to Nintendo, PC, and XBOX platforms next summer
Revealed today during Nintendo’s Indie World showcase, Riyo Games and Balor Games have announced that Threads of Time, the upcoming turn-based RPG adventure, is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement also confirms a Summer 2027 launch window across Nintendo platforms, PC via Steam, and XBOX Series X|S.

Developed by an all-star team of RPG visionaries, Threads of Time combines turn-based JRPG foundations with modernized 2.5D pixel art. Players will weave together powerful attacks in visually dynamic, strategic turn-based battles, bend time to unravel enemies’ defenses and unleash their party’s full potential through devastating team combos.
From the age when dinosaurs roamed to the far-flung future and alternate realms in between, Threads of Time takes players across fantastic, distinctive time periods to discover the threads that bind the ages. Throughout their journey, they will uncover an epic tale of interwoven fates and secrets that shaped civilizations, while following a sinister plot that traverses the tapestry of time.
