It’s another busy Q4 and another unconquerable sea of Steam Next Fest demos through which you have to sail while being battered by the storm of emails asking you to try them out. We know that means you’re going to miss lots, so we just wanted to give you a reminder about a handful of demos from our clients that you may have overlooked, available to play as part of Steam Next Fest now.
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered
This remaster of the cult classic 2002 3D arena fighter pits the franchises most iconic kaiju against each other. This is the perfect moment to try Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered ahead of its November 3rd release on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Hope Timbre
Hope Timbre is a charming 3D puzzle game where you traverse colourful environments and manipulate the architecture to solve puzzles, you guide a mysterious creature through imaginary realms at night and help two siblings awaken their broken world during the day.
Rhythm Hotel
Play through five levels in the demo for one-button rhythm-action game Rhythm Hotel, coming to PC and Switch later this year. In Rhythm Hotel, history’s most famous figures check in, and all hell breaks loose. Every guest arrives with their own ridiculous agenda, and every stay spins into a fresh comedy of errors.
Tattie Bogle
In Tattie Bogle, a co-op farming-defense roguelite coming to Steam November 11, you’re no ordinary farmer – you’re an enchanted scarecrow defending your farm from increasingly dangerous threats. Grow crops and prepare your defenses by day, then grab your garden tools and fight off supernatural enemies after dark. Play solo or team up with up to three friends, unlock permanent upgrades, and see how long you can keep the farm standing.
Dead Party
Unlock the never-before-seen Museum stage in the expanded demo for 4-player co-op zombie defense game Dead Party launching October 29 on Steam and Epic Games Store, with console versions to follow. In Dead Party, UFOs show up over the quiet town of Shady Hill on Halloween, the dead climb out of their graves, and four unlikely heroes are left holding the neighborhood with barricades, improvised traps and rock-powered zombie destruction.
Ecstatica 1 & 2
Play the demos for restored survival horror classics Ecstatica and Ecstatica 2, launching on Steam and GOG on October 26, just in time for Halloween. First released in 1994, Ecstatica mixes horror with 90s edginess and absurd British humour in the demon-cursed medieval village of Tirich, where a simple stop for water leaves you stalked by an unkillable werewolf.
On the Rocks
On the Rocks is a first-person crafting and bar management simulation game set in a sun-scorched wasteland where clean water has all but disappeared. Players must brave the dangers of the desert to gather resources, refine them using industrial machinery, expand and upgrade their bar, and build a reputation among the survivors who pass through its doors. Balancing exploration, survival and business management is the key to keeping the wasteland’s last great hangout alive.
Portentum
Portentum is a cryptid deck-building auto-battler where players build a 30-card deck of cryptids and mushrooms, spend gold to fill a five-slot warband, and battle other players’ warbands, aiming to win ten rounds before losing five. Every warband created joins the matchmaking pool, so the meta keeps shifting as new card packs bring fresh combos into play. Portentum launches in Steam Early Access on October 28th.
