MILAN, Italy – October 14, 2026 – 505 Pulse and Avantgarden are excited to announce that Among the Trolls, the first-person adventure inspired by Finnish mythology and folklore, launches today on Steam. Players will journey into a remote Finnish forest where a missing family member, an untamed natural world, and ancient legends draw them toward a mystery hidden beneath the trees.
Set within a breathtaking wilderness of deep woods and unseen presences, Among the Trolls follows Anna as she travels from the United States to her grandfather’s remote cabin in Finland, only to find that he has vanished without a trace. What begins as an emotional search becomes a profound journey through a landscape where nature is alive with memory, myth, and meaning.
Through its rich experiential narrative, Among the Trolls unfolds through exploration, environmental storytelling, and encounters rooted in Finnish folklore, as players piece together Anna’s family history and the mystery surrounding her grandfather’s disappearance.

The game’s atmosphere is further shaped by an original score from multi-award-winning composer Daniele Carmosino. Blending piano, cello, strings, analog synth, and voice, the music reflects Anna’s loss and isolation, transforming acoustic sources into something increasingly unfamiliar. This contrast also comes through in “Endless Exile,” featuring vocals by Maria Chiara Argirò and smoky, trip-hop-inflected textures that bring a darker, more contemporary edge to the soundtrack.
