Future Stars Team 1 goes live today in Football Ultimate Team™, spotlighting the emerging talent shaping what comes next in The World’s Game
Future Stars arrives earlier than ever in EA SPORTS FC™ 27, kicking off the global football conversation around who’s next. With Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha headlining Team 1, Future Stars celebrates up-and-coming talents from across The World’s Game as the next generation takes over Football Ultimate Team™.
Future Stars has an established history of identifying emerging talent before some of football’s biggest breakthroughs, with alumni including Jude Bellingham, Alyssa Thompson, Pedri, and Bradley Barcola. This year, Future Stars continues to celebrate players set to define football’s future.
One of England’s most promising young talents, Rio Ngumoha, takes the spotlight this year. Announcing himself as Liverpool’s youngest-ever goalscorer by netting a late winner against Newcastle last season, Ngumoha then went on to make his senior England debut in the summer.
“Growing up playing EA SPORTS FC, I always dreamed of seeing myself in the game, so to now be part of the Future Stars campaign is incredibly special,” said EA SPORTS FC ambassador and Liverpool forward Rio Ngumoha. “Future Stars is about celebrating the next generation of players and the potential they have, and I’m buzzing to be part of this year’s Future Stars squad.”
Building on his journey from one of the most EVO’d Future Stars academy players in EA SPORTS FC™ 26 to an EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Future Stars ambassador, Rio Ngumoha’s FUT™ Player Item racked up over 37.5 million goals and more than 30.7 million assists in EA SPORTS FC™ 26 and was EVO’d over 312,000 times*.
