[Milan, Italy – October 8, 2026] FLAT28 is proud to announce that Glasshouse, its narrative-driven feudalpunk CRPG, has launched its official pre-alpha demo on Steam, available now for everyone to play.
Having recently surpassed 77,000 Steam wishlists, Glasshouse returns with a new and official demo featuring new content, additional polish, major gameplay improvements, and partial English voice acting – including Stefanie Joosten, best known for her role as Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
What’s new in the demo
- Partial English voice acting, covering approximately 60% of the demo’s dialogue, including Stefanie Joosten.
- A brand-new boss fight and three different endings, shaped by major player choices.
- Dynamic Codex, a new system that lets players hover over highlighted keywords to instantly access concise explanations of Glasshouse’s lore and feudalpunk terminology. This is the first iteration of a larger system planned around the future World Awareness mechanic.
- An expanded combat system, featuring new items alongside improvements to UX and sound design.
- Five new cinematics and four new cinematic dialogue shots.
- A UI/UX overhaul, including redesigned tutorials and dialogue UI, new portraits, sound effects and animations.
- Further polish and improvements throughout the experience based on feedback from previous playtests.
