Creators of video game music tribute channel JT Music branch out into original horror games
RALEIGH, North Carolina – 25 Sept. 2026 – The first playable demo for Terrible Lizards, the first-person horror platformer with buried secrets from the minds behind the popular JT Music YouTube channel’s new game studio WDR Studios, is now available on PC via Steam for PC, ahead of the Thursday, Oct. 29 launch on Steam, XBOX Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Jordan is stranded and alone on Route 66, with the only sign of civilization a rundown tourist trap, Dalton’s Dinos. The lights are out, but when you’re alone in the desert, your options are limited, even if that place gives you the creeps.
Jumping the gate and dodging electrical hazards proves that all of his time on the UCLA track team and studying parkour didn’t go to waste, but getting in was the easy part. Now, Jordan is desperately searching for a way to call for help, and wondering why a missing mascot costume is filling him with dread.
But no amount of track practice can prepare you for the abject terror of having to run and hide from dinosaurs.
Use mobility to stay alive in portions of the first two levels of this acrobatic survival adventure full of enigmatic apex predators. Use your wits to cross difficult paths or unlock heavily guarded locations, all the while evading the monsters that could strike at any moment.
If walking dinosaurs weren’t weird enough, things only get stranger as Jordan explores the digsite beneath Dalton’s Dinos in the full game, launching Thursday, Oct. 29. What happened to Dalton, his wife Elena, and their son, Dalton Jr.? The first clues to these answers lie in the demo for the debut title from the minds behind JT Music, who have made music paying tribute to their favorite games, and are now crafting their own original horror experience.
“Christian and I at JT Music have been making music about games for years, and are massive horror fans, so developing our own title seemed like a natural fit,” said John Gelardi, co-founder of WDR Studios and JT Music, and the Producer and Designer on Terrible Lizards.
“We’ve drawn from our collective nostalgia for the 1990s and classic horror titles to create something original. We’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with amazing developers like Amanda Farough to help us fully realize our vision of a one-of-a-kind horror experience.”
Terrible Lizards is currently slated to launch on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S on Thursday, 29 Oct, 2026, with news on other platforms to be announced at a later date.
