The new season also kicks off alongside the FC Mobile Anniversary Event, a month-long, community-driven celebration. This event brings back fan-favorite gameplay features from the past year, including Team of the Year (TOTY) upgrades, Team of the Season (TOTS) tag combos, and the iconic Bernabéu Stadium. Across ten distinct chapters, players can revisit familiar FC Mobile events, build their squads and earn rewards while enjoying this new era for FC Mobile with the 27 Season Update.

“With the FC Mobile 27 Season Update, we’re giving players more ways to get the most from the squads they build and greater control over how they approach each match,” said Kevin Liu, General Manager FC Mobile. “Whether you’re building out your line-up, adapting your tactics or taking on a new challenge, we want every match to give players more ways to make meaningful choices and play The World’s Game their way.”
Gauntlet Mode is an all-new PvE experience that puts squad depth to the test, challenging players to progress through a series of matches while making use of their roster’s scope and talent. Player appearance limits encourage squad rotation, while different objectives and match modifiers ask players to think strategically about the line-up they take into each challenge.
Game Plans give players greater tactical control before and during matches, with the ability to create up to four combinations of formations and five mentalities — Ultra Defensive, Defensive, Balanced, Attacking and Ultra Attacking. Players can switch between Game Plans during supported matches to react and adapt as the action unfolds.
The FC Mobile 27 Season Update also introduces two new PlayStyles, expanding player choice on the pitch across passing and set pieces:
- Incisive Through Pass – More accurate, leading ground through passes.
- Dead Ball – Revamped free kicks with greater bend and precision for players with the appropriate attributes and PlayStyle.
A refreshed visual experience gives the new season of FC Mobile an updated look and feel, elevating match presentation across the gameplay HUD, loading screens, player indicators and other elements throughout the experience.
Beyond the 27 Season Update, MLS action continues in EA SPORTS FC Mobile on October 10, when players worldwide can watch Vancouver Whitecaps FC take on Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) live at 7:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM ET through the in-game FCM TV portal. As part of EA SPORTS FC’s collaboration with Major League Soccer and Apple TV, fans can tune into the live in-game simulcast* and be rewarded with in-game currency.
With the FC Mobile 27 Season Update, there are more ways to build, play and stay connected to the action, as the wider EA SPORTS FC community looks ahead to the September 25 launch of EA SPORTS FC 27, available now through Early Access with the Ultimate Edition**.
