Bristol, UK – September 16, 2026 – Independent developer Gilded Rune Games and publisher Yogscast Games have launched an interactive Alternate Reality Game (ARG) for their upcoming single-player social deduction roguelite, Dupery: A Game of Solo Deduction.
Hosted at whoarethesyndicate.com, the Dupery ARG invites players to test their sleuthing skills ahead of the game’s October 15 launch. The community investigates together, earning an increasing launch discount for every puzzle solved, culminating in a 20% launch discount on Steam if all clues are uncovered before release.
Since going live on September 3, the community has already successfully cracked six clues(!), unraveling pieces of the shadowy criminal network that players will face in the main game. Additional clues will be revealed as the October release date approaches so keep your eyes peeled, detectives….

In Dupery, players take on the role of a lone detective up against a shadowy criminal syndicate. Piecing together grid-based procedural cases, detectives must cross-reference statements, identify fatal contradictions and use an in-game investigation toolkit to map out your suspicions. With over 200 handcrafted roles spanning Innocents, Meddlers, Underlings and Traitors, no two cases play out the same way.
