Hertfordshire, 10th September 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Team NINJA have introduced a new fighter, Minato, to the fray in DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round and released two brand-new introduction videos, allowing players to catch a first look at her move set and combos. To celebrate, fans can enjoy a 25% discount on DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round in the Minato Debut Sale*, while the “Free Character Release Campaign” gives fans an opportunity to play for free as four additional characters in the Core Fighters for a limited time.

New character Minato, who also goes by the nickname TOKYO JK, is a seemingly ordinary high school student with an exceptional talent for dancing who emerged victorious in a global dance competition. As genius scientist NiCO’s best friend, Minato has gained access to special devices developed by her and wears these devices while she fights. Minato’s fighting style blends her flashy dance moves with her impressive physical ability, showcasing her flair and skill. Fans can now purchase the “Minato Debut Costume Set”, comprised of five outfits**, as well Minato’s character license both separately and simultaneously.
In celebration of Minato joining the DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round roster, players will have access for free to four additional characters in DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round Core Fighters, and will be able to battle as Nyotengu, Leifang, Kokoro, and Hitomi in all modes (including online, offline, and Photo Mode) until 24th September.
DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round, the definitive version of DEAD OR ALIVE 6 , has been optimised for the latest hardware and includes the original 24 characters alongside five characters from the game’s DLC lineup (Nyotengu, Phase 4, Momiji, Rachel, and Tamaki)***. In the free-to-play DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round Core Fighters edition, players can enjoy the thrilling battles with fighters Marie Rose, Honoka, and NiCO, through Photo Mode and online modes**** “DOA Quest” and “DOA Central”.
