Indie developer KDream and publisher 2P Games proudly announce the Steam demo for their upcoming Xianxia-themed life-sim RPG, My Fairy Princess, is available on Steam right now. The demo is released ahead of the game’s participation in the upcoming Steam Next Fest, giving players an early taste of what parenthood looks like in a mystical fabled realm.
Fans of classic daughter-raising simulators –such as Princess Maker and Volcano Princess– will find themselves immersed in a fairy land of changing seasons and lively street markets, with added RPG elements and combat styles, and a diverse cast of romanceable characters in a traditional eastern fantasy setting.
In My Fairy Princess, players take on the role of a secluded cultivator who unexpectedly gets a life-changing request: to adopt an orphaned girl. In their new parenting role, they’ll nurture their child through her formative years in cultivation, raising her with warmth and navigating the emotional turmoil of growing up. Every step in her life will shape her path, from farming and cooking to fishing by the river or crafting elixirs. And guided by her parent’s philosophy, she’ll develop her own ideas and aspirations in life: will she embrace a quiet mortal life, or ascend to immortality?
The world of My Fairy Princess is a fabled realm bustling with life for players to explore. From peaceful and shimmering lakes and mountains, to busy and warm urban market towns. In this world humans, fiends, and immortals coexist. Players will encounter a wide cast of diverse characters: an extravagant heiress, a wandering swordsman, and a wise seeker of the Dao. How they interact and which bonds they form will shape their daughter’s emotional growth and future aspirations.
However, not everything is peace and conversations around a warm tea. In the way of the cultivator, there are also fierce fights. Beyond the borders of the town, there are wild regions to explore where trouble might arise. Players will have different combat styles to choose from and divine weapons to wield against their enemies.
