Dive into SS6 Pyrite Nyx now
Shanghai, China — September 3, 2026 | XD Games is thrilled to announce that the latest Etheria: Restart season — SS6 Pyrite Nyx — begins today. In addition to four new playable Animuses, this brand new season also introduces new PVE and PVP modes, new character outfits, new main story chapters, and a special celebration event to mark the first anniversary of Etheria: Restart’s global launch.

SS6 brings a series of new benefits and themed events to Etheria: Restart, beginning with an event that enables players to complete missions and collect Sleight Scrip tickets. Those tickets can be exchanged for various resource rewards, including Pyrite Tally, a key event item that players can flip to earn a random share of a massive 100 million Hydra Crystal prize pool.
One of the main ways to earn tickets for the draw event is a new mode called Pyrite Plunder. This server-wide faction event sees players joining one of two phantom thief groups — the Umbral Prowlers or the Pyrite Pageant — and tasks them with earning as many event points as possible by completing various tasks.
These points contribute to an overall effort to reduce the shared HP pool of a series of strongholds on a map. As players work together to push the frontline forward and open the path to the main central stronghold, they’ll also earn plenty of rewards, including Sleight Scrip and event items to be exchanged in the shop.

SS6 will also introduce new game modes for players to tackle. Desynced Recursion is a seasonal, idle-style PvE mode where retro, pixel-art Animuses take the field to confront endless stages in pursuit of leaderboard rankings, progression resources, and selectable pixel Avatars. Auto Arena is an additional idle PvP mode wherein players set a team of Animuses and battle automatically, trying to rack up wins and earn points for their chosen faction.
Two new Main Quest story chapters will also debut throughout SS6, alongside a new Special Episode. In Chapter 11, Umbra Haunt, players head off in search of Beyontin again, encountering another unexpected incident. Chapter 12, Beyond Blossom, then reveals that Hyperlinkers face an enemy hidden in the shadows.
SS6 will bring a number of new Animuses to Etheria: Restart, starting today with Jolt. Jolt is a new kinetic, damage-dealing Animus equipped with electrical powers and a giant hammer. After taking a fatal hit in battle, Jolt can enter the Thunder Spirit state, allowing her to stay in the fight and keep the pressure on foes.

Additional characters will be added to Etheria: Restart throughout SS6, including Kynessa, a brand-new Apex Animus, due to arrive in the second phase of the season from 23 September. The final Animus drop of the season comes on 14 October, introducing Syen and Auroral Nell.
Additionally, SR Animus Diting will receive Animetry Awaken in SS6, allowing Hyperlinkers who max out all of his skills to unlock additional enhancements.
