COLOGNE, Germany — Aug. 25, 2026 –Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio are thrilled to unveil the official launch trailer for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, premiered in grand fashion during Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live, just before the game’s release on August 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Set to a striking reinterpretation of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence,” this final glimpse into Resonance explores themes of loss, betrayal and destiny.
A darker journey into the world of A Plague Tale
Combining dynamic melee combat, exploration, environmental puzzles and narrative-driven adventure, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy offers a new perspective on the beloved universe created by Asobo Studio.
Players will uncover Sophia’s origins while exploring a parallel story set during the Minoan era, revealing long-buried secrets connected to the island and shedding new light on the origins of the Macula itself. From breathtaking coastal landscapes to forgotten labyrinths hidden beneath the earth, the game delivers an emotional and intense adventure where every discovery brings Sophia one step closer to the truth… and one step closer to the darkness waiting for her.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy launches on August 27 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders remain available on all platforms. The game will also be available day one with Xbox Game Pass and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy’s Collector Box is available for pre-order across Europe. This premium edition celebrates Sophia’s adventure through a selection of exclusive collectibles inspired by the game’s universe. Deliveries are scheduled to begin at the end of October.
