The Mixed Reality RTS challenges early players in 1v1 battles.
Guangzhou, China, 4th August 2026 – Currently in development for Meta Quest, SoulFire Studio Team and LingVision Games’ The Great Flood is a fantastical mixed-reality real-time strategy game (RTS) set to arrive in Q4 2026. In preparation for the upcoming launch, The Great Flood’s first multiplayer Closed Beta Test (CBT) is now underway.
Giving players a first look at The Great Flood’s gameplay and extensive systems, the CBT is focused on the multiplayer aspect of the game. A tactical strategy experience where players can compete in 1v1 and 2v2 battles, SoulFire Studio Team and LingVision Games will be testing to make sure these occur as smoothly and faultlessly as possible.
Testers will also be able to delve into the other mechanics of The Great Flood. From unlocking new characters and alternating their squad of 10 troops to test new strategies, to upgrading their mythical monsters, the CBT delivers a tantalising array of options, even at this beta stage.
CBT applications are open to all Meta Quest owners, and spaces are still available. The Closed Beta Test run for 2 weeks, ending on 18th August 2026. Testers are welcome to join The Great Flood Discord to discuss the game and deliver feedback to the team.
