On August 18th, Esperia welcomes Taichi Yagami and Agumon, along with Yamato Ishida and Gabumon
August 3, 2026 – In celebration of the 27th annual Digimon Day, Farlight Games today announced an upcoming crossover between AFK Journey and the anime series Digimon Adventure. The special event will bring Taichi Yagami and Agumon, alongside Yamato Ishida and Gabumon, into the world of Esperia.
The crossover begins on August 18, 2026, with new gameplay content, rich rewards, and limited cosmetics.
Digimon Adventure begins in the summer of 1999, when Taichi and six other children are pulled through a mysterious device into the Digital World. There, they meet strange creatures called Digimon who already know their names. Together with their Digimon partners, the children set out to find their way home while battling powerful enemies that threaten the Digital World. As their Digimon Digivolves and their bonds deepen, they uncover a great secret hidden within this mysterious world. A thrilling adventure begins.
This marks the fourth major IP crossover for the award-winning AFK Journey. The game is available as a free download on iOS, Android, Steam, and Windows PC.
