Sydney, Australia – 30 July 2026: Deep Silver and KING Art Games revealed the third of four faction deep dive trailers for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, showcasing the Necrons and their methodical playstyle, built around relentless expansion and overwhelming the battlefield over time.
Witness the return of the Necrons as they reawaken their tombs, expand their domain to earn their Dominion resource across Kronus, and bring forth ancient engines of war in the new gameplay deep dive:
Ancient. Immortal. Unstoppable.
As they reclaim Kronus, they expand their domain to earn resources across the battlefield by restoring ancient structures and activating their Power Matrix, steadily turning the war in their favor. At the center of their growing empire stands the Tomb Citadel, which also serves as the production engine for your units.
Leading their forces are two powerful commanders: the Chronomancer Thothmek, who bends time to disrupt enemies and accelerate Necron reanimation, and Ahmnok, once ruler of Kronus, consumed entirely by the urge to annihilate all life.
With self-repairing legions, unyielding constructs, and ancient technologies that bend space and time, the Necrons do not adapt to war; they outlast it.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV launches on September 17, 2026, with Commander Edition players deploying from September 14 through a 3-Day Early Unlock. Both editions are available to pre-order now with a 10% discount.
The war will continue long after launch. Year One includes free updates featuring the return of Crusade Mode, new maps, modes, Commanders, and the Mission Editor, alongside two major story expansions that will deepen the conflict on Kronus and introduce a new playable faction to the battlefield.
