MILAN, Italy – July 28, 2026 – 505 Pulse, the indie-focused publishing label of Digital Bros Group, and Swedish developer Nicklas Nygren – better known as Nifflas – are paws-itively thrilled to share that a Steam Playtest for their their rhythm-platformer where movement and music become one, Rhythm Doggo, is now open to everyone.
Watch the Rhythm Doggo Announcement Trailer:
Featuring a “living” soundtrack that evolves in real-time, this platform adventure invites you to take on the role of a dog and create music as you go. A blend of rhythm game and exploration platformer, your movements and actions shape the soundscape around you as you progress — and you’ll have a doggone good time while doing so!
The first test went live on June 15 exclusively to a limited number of players on the game’s Discord, with feedback (and a lot of barking) gathered from players. The playtest offers a first taste of what makes Rhythm Doggo tick: a procedural soundtrack that reshapes itself around the player’s every move. Music isn’t the backdrop here – it’s the engine. Movement, exploration and puzzles all feed the beat, and the beat feeds right back, in the tradition Nifflas has been refining since Knytt Stories and Ynglet.
