LOS ANGELES – JULY 22, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has launched the 3rd Anniversary Hot Summer Festival update for its collectible RPG, Tower of God: New World. Starting today, players can experience the new SSR+ Teammate, special anniversary events, and various rewards.
The latest update introduces the new SSR+ Teammate [Red Lantern] Shilial (Purple Element, Assassin, Fisherman), a future Shilial who is working behind the scenes to bring down the Lo Po Bia Family and Zahard. In battle, she uses skills to stealthily move behind enemies and inflict powerful bleeding damage. She can also increase her survivability by using hallucination-inducing smoke to conceal herself, while her ultimate skill allows her to continuously teleport to confuse enemies and deal powerful AoE damage. Players can now experience multiple events celebrating the arrival of [Red Lantern] Shilial until August 5, where they can obtain generous rewards.
To celebrate the game’s 3rd Anniversary, Tower of God: New World is hosting various events through August 19:
- 3rd Anniversary Festival: Clear daily missions to obtain [3rd Anniversary] Nonstop SSR+ Tickets, Revolution Fragments, and more.
- 3rd Anniversary Nonstop SSR+ Summon: Select SSR+ Teammates you wish to obtain and have a higher chance to acquire them while powering up to maximum Limit Break. Up to 2,000 Nonstop SSR+ Tickets can be earned for SSR+ Teammates, including [The One Who Shone] Mago.
Additional anniversary content includes a mini-game event available through August 5, where players can challenge an NPC to earn Black Market Tickets upon victory, as well as a friend invitation event. The update also features Growth Exchange Event and Revolution Reset Event that allow returning players to immediately use the latest Teammates when they revisit the game.
Alongside this update, Tower of God: New World has also teased the addition of a new Family Head-level Teammate in August, as well as the reveal of hidden behind-the-scenes stories. A special 3rd Anniversary coupon code, “TOG3YEARS,” is also available. Players can enter the coupon before the September 2 update to receive 10 Black Market Tickets.
Tower of God: New World is a collectible card game RPG based on “Tower of God,” a popular WEBTOON series that has surpassed 5 billion global views.
