An epic journey awaits in the Nintendo Switch™ 2 edition
Hertfordshire, 21st July 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Team NINJA are pleased to announce that their dark Three Kingdoms action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition is now available to pre-order on Nintendo Switch™ 2 ahead of its release on 3rd September 2026.
Fans can prepare to delve into a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty in the most comprehensive edition of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, as well as its expansive Complete Edition. This titlewill include the base game and all three major DLC, Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, and Upheaval in Jingxiang, as well as the new endgame content, The Thousand-Mile Journey. Players can look forward to these additional scenarios with characters from the armies of Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and Liu Bei, as well as extra weapon types (cestuses, long swords, and whips).
Players will also find their journey through a land ravaged by demons upheaved by new difficulties, new stages, new Divine Beasts and more challenging difficulty levels, as well as expanded functions. Fans can enjoy a range of previously released collaborative DLC, adding equipment and stages from Nioh 2, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, and Lies of P.
Additionally, three in-game items that were included in the initial release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Baihu Armour, Zhuque Armour, and Qinglong Armour, will be included in the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of the Complete Edition, as well as The Records of the Grand Historian, an in-game item that shows the location of Marking Flags on the mini-map.
To celebrate the upcoming release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch™ 2, all owners of the Nintendo Switch™ 2 edition will have access to an exclusive equipment set, Xuanwu Armour, as a commemorative bonus*.
Furthermore, fans can eagerly anticipate Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, scheduled for release in early 2027. This sequel to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will further refine and enhance the fast-paced, tactical combat of the first game with the inclusion of defensive Chinese martial arts, such as the ability to deflect incoming attacks. The Morale feature also makes a return, giving players the opportunity to conquer the battlefield.
Pre-orders for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch™ 2, scheduled to release 3rd September 2026, are now open.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition is already available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, XBOX Series X|S, XBOX One, XBOX on PC, and Steam®. The game features Japanese and English voices with texts in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is currently in development and is scheduled to release early 2027 on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™2, XBOX on PC and Steam®, and will be available from day one with XBOX Game Pass. The game will include Japanese and English voices with texts in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
* The Xuanwu Armour equipment set will be available from 12:00UTC on Wednesday 2nd September 2026 until 14:59UTC on Wednesday 30th September 2026. The Xuanwu Armour equipment set will be available via Deliveries in the Battle Flag menu after the player has applied the patch released alongside the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of the Complete Edition.
