Osaka, Japan | June 29, 2026 – Baito Fight!!: Part-time Devil Hunter, the baseball themed devil hunting life sim from Japanese developer KINGOFSHIBUYA Ltd. steps up to bat against devils and unemployment in this quirky and offbeat JRPG where friendship, part-time jobs, and fighting vicious devils arrive on PC via Steam August 11, 2026.
Step into the worn cleats of ex-baseball player Anansi, and live the daily life of a man seeking a quiet life as he settles into a new apartment nestled deep in the center of Osaka’s Naniwa Ward. Life is never simple as it seems, even in retirement Anasi quickly discovers his peaceful life threatened by devils determined to make every step of his day a living hell.
Utilize Anansi’s baseball skills to take on an army of devils infesting his apartment with traditional turn-based JRPG combat where powerful pitches, skillful strikes, and critical center strikes send the devils running to home. Unleash precise timing and strategy with the game’s real-time defensive batting mechanic, where skillful strikeouts earn massive damage, but swing and misses reduce Anansi’s HP. Enjoy bite-sized RPG gameplay in a charming lo-fi pixel rpg world of wacky-looking devils with a visual style strongly inspired by legendary titles such as Earthbound, Undertale, andYume Niki.
Unlock new powers and new devil-hurting abilities at local Japanese convenience stores, aka konbinis, to stem the tide of devil infestation threatening to engulf the apartment by purchasing new powers. Life isn’t just fighting demons and calling it a day; however, with rent and other adult responsibilities awaiting our home run hero. Win battles against devils to fight back against the other never-ending threat of overdue rent and homelessness, and make sure Anansi has a bed to sleep in after long days of devil hunting.
Baito Fight features a world that always advances, including Anansi’s neighbors, side quests, and even the main plot. Befriend an eclectic collection of friendly and quirky neighbors and become involved in their own lives and stories, where every day that passes in the game brings new adventures and revelations, all of which lead towards the game’s ultimate mystery: what is causing the infestation of devils and how can Anansi turn the tide for good?
