Steam Next Fest Kicks Off June 15, and FreeStyle Football 2 is Part of It
Seoul, South Korea – (June 15, 2026) – Make the wait between matches worth it with FreeStyle Football 2. As the 2026 World Cup gets underway, Joycity (CEO: CHO Seong Won) and WOORE studio invite players to jump into the FreeStyle Football 2 demo, available now all platforms: Xbox, Xbox on PC & Steam, as part of Steam Next Fest kicking off today (June 15–22). PlayStation demo will be available starting June 18, 2AM CEST / June 17th, 5PM PDT.
FreeStyle Football 2 reunites the original FreeStyle series development team to deliver a next-gen soccer experience combining realistic graphics with arcade-driven gameplay. The game has already completed two successful closed beta tests across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Xbox PC. FreeStyle Football 2 demo launched on June 10 and runs through June 22, running through the full Steam Next Fest (June 15–22). This is also the first time the game features crossplay across all platforms Xbox, Xbox on PC, Steam and PlayStation.
WHAT’S IN THE DEMO
- New Cosmetics: Expanded variety of cosmetics, including National Uniforms
- New Map: A brand new New York map joins the roster, dropping players into the heart of the city for an urban soccer experience like no other.
- Ranking Leaderboard: Competitive ranked mode added for players looking to climb the standings
- Lounge System: A brand-new feature for recruiting playable characters:
- Unlock characters by building relationships through conversations (Favor Gauge) and signing a contract to recruit them
- Slots reset after every match
- In-game currency “Reyal” is used both to getting close with the characters (Favor Gauge) and to recruit characters
