Build through meteor storms, navigate through volcanic lava, and fire mega impulse cannons across two playable missions
11 June 2026, Nicosia, Cyprus – Publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment and indie developer Firevolt are proud to announce that the free demo for Salvation Denied, a chaotic co-op building sim for 1–4 players, is out now on Steam with a spot in Steam Next Fest lined up for June 15. The full game launches Fall 2026 on PC via Steam and in 2027 on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Check out the Demo Release Trailer!
Salvation Denied is built around a series of distinct missions, each with its own challenge, physics-driven construction system, and set of environmental disasters waiting to ruin your best-laid plans. The demo includes two full missions, which provide a complete picture of the variety and diversity in gameplay objectives, challenges, and chaotic events in the game:
- Mission 1: “Signal to Orbit” – build a base of any shape, get the antenna to hit the signal, and try not to get flattened by meteor showers.
- Mission 2: “Shield Breaker” – level support heights across the canyon, drive massive damper cores to the mega impulse cannon, and take down three security towers to breach the main barrier.
When Salvation Denied was announced in March 2026, the response from co-op and building game fans during the open playtest phase was immediate: players took to the physics-driven chaos quickly and came back with more feedback than the team had planned for. The demo is the result of all that.
Ajven Pabiarzhyn, Creative Director at Firevolt:
“Every piece of feedback from the March open playtest went straight into this demo, and there was a lot of it, touching almost every system in the game. We reworked the characters, overhauled the locations, and added a whole new mission with a mega impulse cannon. At some point, we really had to stop and actually ship it. We hope you enjoy it!”
The demo launches with full localization in 14 languages, including English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The demo for Salvation Denied is available on Steam. Jump in, load the cannon, and find out how long your structures hold!
Stay tuned and share your feedback by joining the official Discord server, following the game on X/Twitter, TikTok, and adding it to your Steam Wishlist.
