Deep space mining/factory sim orbits Steam Early Access later this year
London, UK – May 28, 2026 – Set out on a voyage across the far reaches of space to mine, build, and automate an interstellar industrial empire in Main Sequence, a space-based factory sim soaring onto Steam Early Access later this year. Download the demo on Steam today.
Developed by Tumbling Dumpling Studio and published by Mythwright, the UK publisher behind Thronefall, Going Medieval, TerraTech Legion and more, Main Sequence tasks players with expanding humanity’s footprint among the stars.
Dispatched to the frontier of space in a small mining ship, build and automate your way to become the commander of a fully-automated, interstellar enterprise.
Starting with just the basic mining tools available on your ship, collect and refine resources, unlock new technologies, and widen your capabilities. Expand your base of operations with factories, automate production with machines and conveyor belt systems, and intricately design your ships and stations to optimize your factory and explore the far reaches of space. Seamlessly switch between piloting and walking around your spaceships in first-person, or disembark your ship and coordinate your fleet from the comfort of the stations you build.
Explore a procedurally-generated galaxy filled with allies and enemies alike as a solo voyager or with friends in online co-op. Discover unique phenomena like black holes and neutron stars, engage in thrilling deep space combat, defend your station from interstellar threats, and leave your mark on the galaxy in a resource management and factory sim set across the vastness of space.
Main Sequence launches in 2026 on Steam Early Access. Add the game to your Steam Wishlist and download the demo today.
