Ingrid Joins Street Fighter 6 Roster Today!

Wield the power of a Code Holder as Ingrid bends the laws of reality across Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub!

London (May 28, 2026) Ingrid joins the Street Fighter™ 6 roster today across Nintendo Switch™ 2, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam! First introduced in Capcom Fighting Evolution in 2004, Ingrid quickly tore through the fabric of reality again to appear in Street Fighter™ Alpha 3 MAX in 2006. Ingrid is available across all three game modes, including Fighting Ground, World Tour, and the Battle Hub!

Watch the Ingrid Launch Trailer on YouTube below, and for the latest assets and information on Street Fighter 6, visit the official Street Fighter 6 website.

Ingrid can be acquired with the Street Fighter 6 Year 3 Character Pass, Year 3 Ultimate Pass, or individually with Fighter Coins. She will be featured with two outfits upon release, including Outfit 1, which features Ingrid’s interdimensional apparel, and Outfit 2 inspired by her appearance in Capcom Fighting Evolution, where she donned a purple school uniform. Outfit 2 can be acquired either with Fighter Coins, maxing out your bond with her in World Tour mode, or maxing out her Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode.

As seen in the previously released Gameplay Trailer on YouTube, Ingrid outclasses her competition with cosmic destruction. Harness the power of the sun to hurl cosmic rays while dancing in and out of striking distance against foes. Ingrid’s arrival in Metro City also marks the final chapter for the World Tour story, and the arrival of two new modes: Random Avatar Matches and Avatar Arcade.

Random Avatar Matches allow players to battle head-to-head with any combination of fighting style, special moves, and gear using fixed player levels and stats. Meanwhile, Avatar Arcade pits the player avatar against CPU masters to learn their styles, strengthen their bond, and acquire special moves. Avatar Arcade also includes Battle Tours, which show the endings of past Street Fighter™ games upon completion. Items and experience gained in Avatar Arcade can in turn be used in the Battle Hub’s level unrestricted Avatar Battles.

With the release of Ingrid, Year 3 of Street Fighter 6 is now at its end, and Outfit 3 is now available for her and all other Year 3 characters including Sagat, C. Viper, and Alex. Sporty DriveTech Outfits are also available for all characters for free. 28 brand-new New Challenger art featuring original illustrations by our winning entrants are also available for free. Ingrid’s arrival also brings a new Battle Adjustment and bug fixes, with the full patch notes available on Buckler’s Boot Camp.
