GuangZou, February 4th – LilliLandia Games, an indie studio under Tencent Games specialising in the life simulation genre, is excited to announce that registration is open for the first closed Alpha Test of Animula Nook. Players will be able to get their first hands-on experience by shrinking down and exploring a whimsical micro-verse hidden within their bedroom.
Animula Nook is an innovative Lilliput fantasy life simulation game where your bedroom, from your desk and windowsill to every dusty corner, is reimagined as a vast adventure map. Designed as a stress-light sanctuary, the game focuses on discovery, creativity, and tranquil social play.
Players use a signature shrinking mechanic to upcycle household clutter into building materials, turning milk cartons into apartments, teacups into cafés, and planters into tiny farms growing towering crops. Deep customisation allows players to style their character, their home, and even their friends, including both NPC Minies and fellow players.
Exploration leads to charming locations like Wupa Woods, where players gather petals, spider silk, mushrooms, and bottled sunlight while discovering mini-games and surprises along the way. Social play is central, from growing a neighbourhood in Wuruville to teaming up in the light-hearted co-op Demeteor Ascent challenge.
Beyond building and exploration, players can enjoy lifestyle activities such as forming bands with eight playable instruments, experimenting with tiny cooking recipes, and dancing together during cosy gatherings.
The closed Alpha Test will take place exclusively on PC (Steam), with sign-ups open now over at https://animulanook.com/en/. Players are also encouraged to join the official Discord server.
Animula Nook is available for wishlist on Steam, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation, and will be available on PC, Mac, Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.
