SOUTH KOREA – Dec. 24, 2025 – SANABI: A Haunted Day is making its way to Nintendo Switch on Thursday, Jan. 15. Published by NEOWIZ and developed by WONDER POTION, the 2D action platformer expansion follows fan-favorite character Major Song and will be available for free via digital download through the Nintendo eShop next month.
SANABI: A Haunted Day is a prequel to the main game, taking players back to the past where Major Song first encountered the Brigadier General. Players uncover secrets hidden within a treacherous robot junkyard while learning more about what led to the events in SANABI.
“With the digital release on the Nintendo Switch, more users will be able to experience the newest chapter in the SANABI universe,” said a NEOWIZ representative. “We’re blown away by the initial reception we have already seen for SANABI: A Haunted Day on Steam. Even as a prequel story, it’s been humbling to see the community’s reactions to Major Song’s story and how this indie game has resonated with fans globally.”
Since launching on Steam in November, the free DLC has received overwhelmingly positive reviews, with players praising the fast-paced aerial gameplay. To celebrate the upcoming release on the Nintendo Switch in January, SANABI is participating in the Steam Winter Sale with a 35% discount on the main game and a 10% discount on the soundtrack until Monday, Jan. 5.
SANABI and SANABI: A Haunted Day are a key demonstration of NEOWIZ’s plans to further build upon the SANABI IP and showcase the company’s global publishing capabilities.
