SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — December 17, 2025 — Today, Ubisoft and Evil Empire announced that The Rogue Prince of Persia™, the critically acclaimed 2D action platforming roguelite, is out now on Nintendo Switch™ and Switch™ 2. Following its successful release on Ubisoft+, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation®5, the game’s arrival on Nintendo platforms marks a new chapter in its multiplatform rollout.
Optimized for handheld and hybrid play, the Switch versions feature all content from the 1.0 release, including a variety of biomes, weapons, medallions, and a reimagined art direction. Players can enjoy fluid combat, dynamic parkour, and a rich narrative of redemption wherever they go. With over 100 weapons and medallions to unlock and master, each run offers new opportunities to adapt and evolve, forging a unique playstyle through exploration and discovery. Agility is key: wall‑running, dodging traps, and chaining stylish combos are essential to survival.

Publishing partner U&I Entertainment will release physical Standard and Immortal Editions for Nintendo Switch™, Switch™ 2, and PlayStation®5 on April 10, 2026, for which pre‑orders are now open. The Immortal Edition includes a premium SteelBook case with sleeve, a double‑sided poster, and fine art cards forming part of the game world map.
The immersive soundtrack by Persian‑American artist ASADI is available on all streaming platforms and Ubisoft Music’s YouTube channel. A vinyl edition is now available for pre-order via Laced Records.
