Hertfordshire, 24th September 2025 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Omega Force unveiled the mysterious remaster of one of the classic titles in the DYNASTY WARRIORS franchise with the announcement of DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered. This remastered edition of one of the most beloved titles in the series is scheduled to release on 19th March 2026 on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch™2, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam.
DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered will include all content from the original DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 game as well as the DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends expansion in a striking modern revival, allowing fans to relive the intense action of the titles that laid the foundation for the entire series. Featuring 1 vs. 1,000 combat on vast battlefields, DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 was the first game in the franchise to incorporate mechanics that would become an integral part of the series such as True Musou Attacks, two-player simultaneous play, and the officer development system. The DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends expansion allowed players to experience new scenarios for a selection of officers including Lu Bu, Meng Huo and Yuan Shao. The game also included bodyguard customisation, new weapons, and four new challenge modes to enhance player experience.
DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered will feature stunning graphics, which have been reworked and enhanced using Unreal Engine 5, allowing fans to rediscover the battlefields, while also enjoying a roster of over 40 playable officers. The intense action of DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 has evolved to offer a more thrilling gameplay experience than ever before, aiming to deliver a 1 vs. 1,000 phenomenon that blends modernity and tradition.DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered is currently in development and scheduled for release on 19th March 2026 on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC Windows via Steam®.
