The action packed, bullet-hell First Person Shooter Adventure game confirms its partnership under the PLAION label Ravenscourt.

In Bears in Space you take the role of Maxwell Atoms, a Solar Marine turned extraterrestrial castaway. His DNA gets mixed with a Bear’s and now they’re ready to wreak havoc – literally – in a zany and humorous out of this world adventure. With a vast arsenal of wacky weapons, you’ll have to blast your way across hordes of robot fiends in an attempt to get back home.
Realms Deep 2023 made its return on September 30th for a late-night talk show. This annual digital event is a single-day broadcast highlighted exciting action-packed games – from hardcore shooters to RTS, horror games, and RPGs. It featured updates from 3D Realms’ upcoming slate of projects, as well as news, premieres, interviews, and more from notable publishers and developers around the world.
PLAION is proud to announce Bears In Space will be playable on the PAX Aus show floor in PAX Rising (Booth: 51), from 6th – 8th October. Experience the mayhem and join the Broadside team for a zany and humorous out-of-this-world adventure!

About Broadside Games
Broadside Games was founded in Brisbane, Australia in 2021 and for a majority of the production, the team was made up of a modest 3 developers, John, Garth and Dan. With the release of Bears in Space they hope to grow their studio even further and become a well-known name in the Australian game development scene. Bears In Space will be Broadside Games’ debut release, although co-owner John Eyre has previous industry experience having worked on Hand of Fate 2 and the award winning The Forgotten City. For the first few years of development, Bears In Space was a passion project being worked on by studio leads Garth and John in their spare time. With the help of an Epic Mega Grant they were able to give the game more time and eventually entered into a partnership with PLAION, allowing Bears In Space to go into full production and expanding the studio by bringing on Dan, the third core member of the studio.
