Bethesda has announced that they will be continuing to expand upon Fallout 76 by releasing a massive update later in the year that will change the way the Wasteland in the game works. The update is called “Wastelanders” and will see other humans returning to Appalachia. Factions of Settlers and Raiders aim to make the world their own and claim a rumored fortune.
Embark on a new main quest of choice and consequence, interact with characters and their unique stories, discover the faction settlements of Crater and Foundation, and collect powerful new weapons and armor. Your choices decide their fates. Also announced is a new game mode that is called “Nuclear Winter” that will be a 52-player battle royal that will be available as a sneak peek from June 10th to June 17th which just so happens to coincide with when the free trial of the game goes live across all platforms.
